AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BOOKCASE ON CHEST, the blind top having moulded cornice over two panelled doors revealing fitted shelves to the interior, the projecting base with crossbanded top and moulded edge above two short and three long cockbeaded drawers, all with oval brass plate handles and standing on bracket feet. C1810. 37" Wide x 82" High x 21" Deep.
A REPRODUCTION 17TH CENTURY STYLE SMALL OAK COURT CUPBOARD, having overhanging drop canopy with drop finials, recessed upper cupboard, projecting base with two blind panel doors standing on gun barrel turned legs, overall decorated with strap work and other foliate carved decoration. Mid 20th century. 39" Wide x 18" Deep x 54" High.

An early 20th Century mahogany long case clock with an eight day movement by Douglas of Stourbridge. The pedestal base rising to an ornately glazed panel door below an arched top hood enclosing the brass blind fret- work dial. The movement having a repeat chime function on Westminster, Whittington & St Michael chimes, some damage and gong missing, 48cm wide by 207cm high.
A George III mahogany, marquetry and blind fretwork serpentine commode, circa 1770, 94cm high 112cm wide, 60cm deep (faults). The elegant serpentine form of this commode relates to various designs for 'French Commodes' by Thomas Chippendale,The Gentleman and Cabinet -Maker's Director , 3rd Edition, 1764, pls LXIV- LXXX. This commode has several similar attributes to an example sold from the contents of Barnwell Manor, Northamptonshire by Sothebys, 28-30 May 2002, particularly in terms of proportion and the blind fretwork decorated angles. Comparable commodes have also been offered in the following previous sales: Sotheby's London 19 November 1993 Lot 68, a pair sold at Christie's London 19 April 1990 Lot 109. A second quarter of the 19th Century Mahogany cased Irish 8-day Long Case Clock, Chrisr Clarke of Dublin, the hood with broken pediment centred to a baluster Brass finial with Greek key borders over a blind fret panel, to freestanding reeded columns and ogee throat, to a long and shaped trunk door flanked by quarter columns and moulded surround to a panelled plinth base, to a signed 13½" engraved Brass dial, with rose and foliate spandrels, enclosing a Roman and Arabic dial, further to subsidiary seconds and ringed winding squares with scrolling garland and later pierced hands, to a movement with plates united by four knoped pillars and anchor escapement, strike on a bell, height 95"
