Grace (1841-1911), English first class cricketer.  Two autograph letters signed on Park House letterhead, 6 May 1896 and 9 May 1896, each addressed to Lord Edward Somerset, discussing forthcoming cricket matches and hoping Lord Edward will be able to play, 'I am pleased that you and J Rowe will play next Tuesday at Weston, Bath'; 'Am sorry you cannot play on Tuesday.  I shall expect J Rowe unless I hear to the contrary.  Will you let me know which matches to put you and him down for - I shall be pleased to play you both in all of them if you can manage it'.  Each letter is signed 'Edward Mills Grace'.  The letter of 6th May is complete with envelope, postmarked Thornbury, 6 May 1896.  Folded as sent, some splitting / wear at fold-lines, some pale spotting.  Together with an envelope (empty) addressed to Lord Edward Somerset, postmarked Lichfield, 21 October 1879, and an invitation to dine with HRH The Prince of Wales, 23 February 1885, on Hon. Corps of Gentlemen at Arms letterhead, complete with envelope (blind stamped for the same by Waterlow & Sons), addressed to Lord Edward Somerset, H.M. Body Guard, Badminton, postmarked London, 23 February 1885 (4)

Two further volumes on Saxon and Bavarian rulers were published in 1673-74.
