A cast reconstituted stone Haddonstone octagonal planter in the form of a font, with quatrefoil blind tracery decoration to the sides and on a spreading square base, 60cm wide, 59cm highWeathered overall and in good condition. This is in 2 pieces. Some nibbles out of the bottom of the base, large chunk out of one side - see images. Otherwise in good weathered condition
A William IV laburnum wood davenport desk, with Gothic blind tracery panels to the front and back, further carved with fruiting oak branches and vines, the super structure with three small drawers and four pigeon holes, with a leather inset fall front enclosing three drawers to the interior and with Bramha lock (key lacking), the base with five graduated drawers to one side and mirrored faux drawers to the other, with carved cabriole supports at the front terminating in paw feet, 61cm wide, 57cm deep, 100.5cm highMinor marks, dents and scratches overall due to age and use, the super structure with signs of previously having had a brass gallery to the top, the pen drawer stiff to the side and with handle detatched, the interior with one drawer knob in need of repair and with associated crack to the wood above and below the joint, the bottom of the interior of the desk with split and ring mark, the drawers running well with mahogany lined interiors, the leather inset to the fall front with scuffs and wear overall and with some split to the fall front, otherwise in good condition.
