A mid-18th Century Mahogany cased 8 Day Long Case Clock, Thomas Bullock of Bath, the caddy top hood with blind frieze panels, to a Greek key moulding, and further blind fret panel and ¾ columns, to an ogee throat and long plain trunk door, with plinth base, to a 12" square brass dial, with cast and applied urn and eagle spandrels enclosing a Roman and Arabic chapter ring, to a signed centre with subsidiary seconds and date sector with blued steel pierced hands, to a movement with plates united by four knopped pillars and anchor escapement, strike on a bell, height 84"
Seaton Tram original memorabilia. A wonderful lot comprising: Dead Man`s/Control Handle unit standing 42" tall, cast iron construction with brass top and large control handle. The top has the English Electric London makers name cast within and the body has a smaller brass makers plate affixed; Wooden Destination box with the SEATON single blind in place; a separate Roller Blind showing Seaton - Colyford - Colyton - Depot - Reserved - Special Car - Service Extra - Seaton Riverside Only; an original overhead wire connector and small length of wire; an original piece of track and a small box of oddments including the wire roller fitted to the tram. There is also a cut down sleeper as used. A substantial and heavy lot to be removed on the day.
