An early Victorian carved oak `Gothic` chiming bracket clock, the triple fusee movement striking on a gong and a peel of eight bells to a engraved and silvered shaped arch dial inscribed GEOE EDWARD & SONS, LONDON & GLASGOW, with subsidiary dials for Slow / Fast and CAMBE CHIMES / 8 BELL CHIMES / NOT CHIME, the moulded edge door with confirming floret carved edge flanked by cluster columns with tapering pinnacles, pierced fret side panels, one destroyed and one missing, to a blind arcaded panel base, 27.25in (69cm) h. Replaced pendulum.

A walnut and marquetry longcase clock, with a five pillar 8 day movement striking on a bell, to a 11 inch square brass dial signed John Martin, Londini, fecit, above a silvered chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial with a matt centre, with an engraved crown around the pierced date aperture, cherub head and foliage cast spandrels, the hood with a moulded cornice above a blind fret frieze, spiral twist pilasters, above a moulded edge trunk door with three foliage panels, one with a bird, and a replaced lenticle, the conforming base on flattened bun feet, 80.25in (204cm) h. Fladgate, LONDON, above a pierced date aperture, the arch with a subsidiary Strike / Silent dial, the hood with brass urn finials to a blind fret panelled cresting with leaf supports, above a moulded cornice with protruding square corners, a dentil frieze above a blind fret panel and arched door flanked by moulded leaf scroll veluts, the shaped, arched and moulded figured trunk door to a panelled base on ogee bracket feet, 102in (259cm) h. A George III mahogany secretaire tallboy, the upper part with a moulded dentil cornice and blind fret carved frieze and canted angles, containing three short and two long drawers with secretaire drawer below, having a hinged fall enclosing a fitted interior with small drawers and pigeon holes, the lower part containing three long drawers, on ogee bracket feet, 112cm (3ft 8in) wide, 179.5cm (6ft 10¾in) high.

OMAS, Roma 2000 I II III Millennium limited edition three pen set, VIP editions, 1998, comprising two .925 standard silver and one vermeil fountain pens, each cast in relief with symbols relating to each respective millennium, the first (blind cap unglued) portrays a compass, the amanuensis monks, the castle of Matilde di Canossa, the coronation of Carlo Magni and the Nativity; the second (the vermeil) portrays a knight from the Crusades, Leonardo da Vinci, Columbus` ships, the steam engine, Einstein`s formula for the theory of relativity, and a missile representing space exploration; the third portrays astronomical symbols; each pen with a two colour 18 carat gold nib, piston filler, and in their presentation box with outer card packaging and paperwork. These pens were presented to the attendees of a special dinner, inclusive of the Mayor of Rome, held to launch the collection to the press. The collection was dedicated to the work of Roman sculptor, Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680), marking the 400th anniversary of his birth. OMAS, through the sale of these pens, funded the restoration of Bernini`s Fontana della Api on the Via Veneto as a part of the City`s preparations for the Millennium celebrations.
