O’SULLIVAN, T.D., M.P. Prison Poems; or, Lays of Tullamore. Dublin, Nation Office, 1888.Timothy Daniel Sullivan [1827-1914], born in Bantry, was MP for Westmeath and later for Dublin. His best-known songs include ‘God Save Ireland’, in memory of the ‘Manchester Martyrs’, and ‘Ireland Boys, Hurrah’. He was a member of the Irish Party and a supporter of the Land League. In 1888 he served two months in Tullamore Jail for publishing reports of banned Land League meetings. With[CANNON, Rev. Francis].
