A 19th century mahogany secretaire bookcase, having a pair of bar glazed doors above a secretaire drawer, with three graduated long drawers below, on splay bracket feet, 86 cm wide- 190 cm high, 84cm wide 44cm deep Overall condition some losses of colour loss to edge see image, wear due to use and age
Edwardian oak-cased triple-fusee bracket or table clock, retailed by Benetfink & Co, London, having an arched 7.5-inch brass dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a matted centre, beneath silvered subsidiary Chime/Silent and Slow/Fast rings flanking axe head retailers cartouche, the chain-driven movement striking on a coiled steel gong and chiming on four smaller, in arched case with wooden tracery, canted corners and stepped base, 56cm high Condition: Dial has tarnishing to chapter ring and cartouche. Movement appears to have been sat still for some period and will probably require an overhaul. Case has extensive blistering and cracking to curved roof plus substantial losses to one panel of tracery (incomplete losses detached but present), sold as seen. Early 20th Century Japanese black lacquer and shibayama 'barrel' garden seat or stand, of bulging square form with gilt decoration to seat over four panels of perching birds with gilt-enriched hardstone inlay, on four splayed bracket supports, 32cm square x 43.5cm high Condition: Very slight fading to black ground, some losses to gilt commensurate with age and use, hardstone appears to be largely intact. **Genera lcondition consistent with age
Early 20th Century mahogany library bookcase, with acanthus-carved dentil cornice over a pair of long glazed cabinet doors with quatrefoil and lancet-arch tracery enclosing four adjustable shelves, the base with gadrooned edge over twin cupboard doors, on bracket feet, 143cm x 40cm x 224cm high Condition: It is possible that the upper and lower sections are an 'old marriage' as the stylistic motifs do not match. However the colour match is acceptable and the top section fits into the space provided by the lower section. Two breaks to quatrefoil panels, minor scratching and visible joins to panels of lower stage cupboard doors. George III 'apprentice piece' miniature chest of drawers, in walnut and mahogany, the walnut-cross banded moulded top over two short and three graduated long drawers with brass drop handles on bracket feet, 32cm x 20cm x 31cm high Condition: General staining to top commensurate with age and use. Minor cracking to crossbanded border. Approximately 2cm loss to front edge moulding over drawers. A GOOD LATE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, by JOSEPH FINNEY, LIVERPOOL, with an arched dial with moon phase movement, silvered dial and subsidiary seconds dial, matted gilt trellis ground, ornate cast spandrels, the arch engraved with motto "On times uncertain, date eternal hours depend", the hood with eagle and bull finials, swan neck pediment, fluted columns with brass capitals, the case with fluted columns and blind fret decoration on ogee bracket feet. 8ft 5ins high.

An early 20th Century Chinese pagoda shaped black lacquer jewellery box / work box decorated in gilt chinoiserie and mother of pearl. The hinged lid having birds of paradise and blossoms to the top opens to reveal a fully appointed sectional interior within a shaped base decorated with further blossoms raised on bracket feet.

WALKER & HALL; an Edwardian hallmarked silver and inlaid tortoiseshell trinket box of rectangular form, the hinged lid enclosing a velvet lined interior and with plain sides, London 1909, length 9.5cm, width 5cm, height 3cm, approx 159g.Additional InformationThe tortoiseshell and inlay are in good order, one of the pins holding the tortoiseshell in place is loose so it is slightly sprung from the bracket, the whole case is slightly twisted and bent meaning the lid does close but it is a little clumsy. The interior lining needs attention as it is loose and split, several dents throughout and unsightly seem marks to the base. Pin head sized dents to the body with tarnishing and toning throughout.
