An early 20th Century vintage heavy cast iron double sided advertising shop point of sale painted sign for 'T. E. Allen & Co. Ltd, Blacksmiths & General Engineers'. The hanging sign having white ground with black lettering and still with original wrought iron bracket wall fitting fixture. Overall measures 133cm 93cm.
Squid - a large and impressive 20th century set of sculptures in the form of squid sea creatures. The largest squid of welded steel construction with elongated trunk / body and various freeform tentacles. The sculptures suitable for interior or exterior use, the larger with hanging bracket to top. Accompanied by two similar smaller squid sculptures, mounted on display bases. Artist unknown. Impressive display. Measures approx; 300cm long.

A collection of 19th century and later glassware to include a Bohemian rectangular casket with scrolling decoration, length 16cm, 19th century perfume bottles and stoppers (part af) (7).Additional InformationCasket metal bracket which acts as a hinge and joins both brackets together is loose from the bottom section, there is also a crack running along the back side of the casket, also a chip to the front left corner, wear to decoration throughout, height 12cm. Green lidded bottle, the glue has dried from the stopper and has separated half of the stopper, also a large chip to the stopper, also on the point of the stopper chipping is evident, chipping to relief panels, height is approx 20cm. Large bottle with minor chipping to the rim, wear to body, small blue and white bottle with excessive damage to top rim, it looks as though a large piece has been broken out. Squat cranberry bottle, stopper is fixed into the bottle and quite stiff and we would not want to put any pressure on it, there looks to be a chip to the inside of the stopper but it is difficult to see as the stopper is stuck in place. Wear to gilding, very minimal chipping to foot rim, one rough chip to one corner. Blue bottle with chip to the underside of the stopper, the remaining part is stuck inside the bottle. Amber coloured bottle with large chip/piece missing from the top rim, also one of the relief points and the foot rim.
A 19th century Gothic skeleton clock with fusee movement, the applied circular dial set with Roman numerals, below presentation plaque inscribed 'Presented to John Wesly Clockmaker, by the Work People at Mess Walley & Whalliy, Greenbank Blackburn, 21st October 1873', raised on marble plinth base, height 51cm (af).Additional InformationThe item is in poor condition and requires restoration, the bell has been detached and is possibly a later replacement. Large areas of dust, fingers have been bent and are rusting, the main body is missing three of the bracket feet to fix into the marble plinth base. LADD OF CANNON STREET LONDON; an early 19th century mahogany bracket clock with double fusee movement, the white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary strike and silent dial, raised on four gilt metal ball feet, height including handle 47cm, complete with pendulum and key.Additional InformationThe dial has been re-painted with extensive added craquelure and signs of old repair/colour to the top rim. The case with cracking to top, sides and doors, chipping to the edges of the door, the base with cracks. Please refer to additional images for further information.
WINTERHALDER & HOFMEIER; a 19th century bracket clock movement in later ebonised case with silver bell, the dial set with Roman numerals, complete with pendulum, height 30cm.Additional InformationWear to the case, the case is a marriage, striking gong is slightly bent on the movement complete with matched pendulum, the door is missing from the back of the clock and is quite clear that the movement is a marriage.
A late George II/early George III walnut crossbanded and line inlaid kneehole desk with frieze drawer above two banks of three graduated short drawers, with central recessed cupboard door, on bracket feet, height 79cm, width 85.5cm, depth 43cm.Additional InformationGeneral surface wear throughout, as you would expect. The top is quarter veneered, it does retain a good colour. The brass furniture appears to be original and if replaced has certainly used the original holes. The drawers are oak lined, a few flecks to the veneers have been repaired, but of solid and sound construction.
