A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CHEST OF FIVE DRAWERS supported on plain bracket feet, 104cm x 105cmCondition report: fading, on top can see where something sat, leaving a dark area. Split to right hand side of carcase, there is a rough area to left hand side. Knotted area. Scratches to front & repairs, middle bottom apron & right leg & other bits damage to veneer on front, replacement handles but looks ok.
London & North Eastern Railway 5.5inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the LNER circa 1930. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular screwed plates and is stamped Coventry Astral. The convex silvered dial has wax filled numerals and LNER 1385. The mahogany case has boxwood stringing to the bottom a convex glass and brass bun feet. The L.N.E.R. clock records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Registrar Surveyors Office, Hamilton House. A nice and unusual Railway timepiece, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition has just been oiled and the suspension spring replaced but not checked for accuracy. Measures 12in x 9.5in x 6in deep.
AN EDWARDIAN MANTLE CLOCK BY MAPLE AND Co. The clock with a circular white enamelled dial with Roman numerals signed Maple & Co, Paris and London, with a two train eight day movement stamped and numbered 1552452, striking on a coiled gong. In an arch-topped mahogany case with short brass bracket feet. With key and pendulum 26cm high, 18cm wide.

A Regency mahogany bracket clock with cream enamelled dial with Roman numerals with a two train fusee movement striking on a bell, the pagoda topped case with twin gilt brass carrying handles, pierced side panels and brass inlay, on ball feet, 50cm high, 30cm wide.
A VICTORIAN WALNUT CASED BRACKET CLOCK BY THWAITES AND REED. A fine Victorian walnut cased bracket clock with a silvered dial signed 'Thwaites and Reed, London' with Roman numerals and slow/fast indicator, with a two train chain link fusee movement, the architectural case with ebonised details, broad moulding and plinth base, 47cm high 36cm wide.
A LARGE GEORGE II STYLE BRACKET CLOCK BY J.C. TURNER OF LONDON. The arch topped dial with silvered chapter ring beneath subsidiary dials for chime/silent, fast slow and Cambridge or 8 bells chimes, with a tablet 'J.C. Turner 142 St John Station Road, London. With a three train movement striking on eight bells and five coiled gongs. The elaborate ebonised and gilt metal mounted case surmounted by a figure of Mercury, with heavy carrying handles, pierced side panels and fluted columns, 94cm high, 44cm wide and 32cm deep, on a matching wall shelf with presentation plaque commemorating the marriage of Loftus Balfour Moreton Esq dated 1891.

A mahogany bracket clock with white enamelled dial 'Bartley of Bristol', with Roman numerals, with an eight day two train movement striking on a bell, the 'pagoda' topped case with leaf carved decoration and scrolling brackets, on a broad base with brass ball feet. 48cm high, 33cm wide, 17cm deep. With key and pendulum.
A REGENCY FAUX ROSEWOOD WATERFALL BOOKCASE. A waterfall bookcase with rosewood effect painted finish with gilt lining, the two shelves with pale green painted interior, above a single frieze drawer and cupboard with brass grill and fabric backing, on short bracket feet. 128.5cm high, 55cm wide and 30.5cm deep.

The double domed top with deep moulding and turned finials above twin mirror mounted doors, the two part mirrors with bevelled edges, enclosing a fitted interior with numerous pigeon holes of varied sizes, the bureau with a sloping fall enclosing a fitted interior with a central well, short drawers, pigeon holes and column fronted drawers, all above two short and two long graduated drawers on bracket feet, 195cm high, 96cm wide and 54cm deep.

The desk elaborately veneered, the top with radiating veneers and central oval detail, with moulded border, above a central cupboard surrounded by a single long drawer fitted with a brushing slide and six short drawers, all with similarly decorated fronts, on bracket feet, 18th century and later, 75cm high, the top 87 x 50cm.
