A Louis XIV style Continental bracket clock, by Franz Hermle & Sons, with Roman numeral dial, satinwood inlaid case, gilt metal mounts, with pendulum, but without key, 37.5 by 14.5 by 65cm high.Condition: Winds, adjusts, chimes on the hour, has been running for over an hour but Batemans cannot guarantee its continued running condition.

*** RE OFFER JULY £600-800*** A good late Victorian bracket clock by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths at 112 Regent Street, London. (C 1908) Fusee, two-train movement, chiming on a gong. Contained in an oak case with brass embellishments to case. Arch brass dial with maker name on a cartouche. 6" x 8". Case overall 9" x 14" (top of handle) x 7" deep. Condition report: Good condition: restored by owner who was a clock and watch repairer. Winding key present. Movement working but not fully tested. A/F.

Striking on a bell. 9-inch wooden dial, convex dial glass, cast bezel. 13" x 7" deep with later bracket, cast-iron weights and pendulum.Condition report: restored original condition, dial scratched with use, some flaking of paint. Pendulum associated.

Strike silent and chime silent on dial. 12" brass arch dial with shell spandrels and sun-face spandrel in the arch. Seconds on dial. Contained in a mahogany case with Sheraton inlays to door base and hood. Reeded columns to trunk and hood. Stands on bracket feet. 23" x 88" x 22".Condition report: Fully restored by owner including the movement which is in working order but not fully tested. Chiming on 5 tubes. Lovely example.
