An 18th Century Gilt Metal Mounted Ebonised Bracket Clock. The musical movement with repeater striking six bells (lacking cord) with a seventh bell striking the hours. The silvered chapter ring with matted centre and calendar aperture surmounted by a subsidiary seconds and strike/silent dials, and inscribed Nath`l Style, London. The case having a caddy top bordered by four finials above sides with fret carved and silk sound holes ornamenting the sides. The chamfered corners bearing gilt appliqués flanking the arched glazed door. Raised on gilt bracket feet. 20½ ins x 13 ins x 8 ins (52 cms x 33 cms x 20 cms).
