Two 19th century iron trivets, largest 40 cm x 40 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The larger of the two trivets is all over rusty. The bottom bar beneath the ledge has some losses to the bottom edge. There is also one perforation on the left hand side of the same bar. The hanging bracket is in good condition all round. There is no evidence of any repair. The second trivet is partially black painted and again has no repairs or restoration. Rust is showing through the paintwork. The trivet is loose at the hinge as one would expect.
A STRASBOURG FAIENCE COMMODE, late 19th century, of bombe serpentine form, the top painted in polychrome enamels with an armorial crest and motto "Forward" within a puce border, over two short and two graduated drawers, the sides and back painted with flowers and raised upon bracket feet with apron, indistinctly inscribed in blue, 5 3/4" wide, 4 1/4" high (Est. plus 21% premium inc.
