LMS wooden Signalbox Board with cast letters BERRY HILL. Ex North Staffordshire Railway signalbox between Stoke and Leekbrook Junction. Measures 54½" x 10½". Original, pale green paint, some loss and damage particularly to the top beading and wooden backboard. Nevertheless a rare find, lurking in a farm outbuilding since its removal. Comes with a pair of LMS/North Staffs wooden signs with cast letters, TELEGRAPH OFFICE. Original green background paint, classic NSR. Could do with a little TLC. Measures approximately 30" x 12" each. Complete with one original wall bracket.

Brass hanging lantern clock, silvered roman chapter ring, the field engraved with leaf scrolls, inscribed Cor. Manley, Norwich, single handed, posted bell with dolphin frets, single weight movement with anchor escapement, external countwheel, turned pillars. Height 41cm (oak bracket, two weights, non-fitting long pendulum)
A George II walnut bureau, cross and feather banded, the hinged fall revealing pigeon holes and drawers flanking a central cupboard above a later slide, with four graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 39in (98.7cm) h, 37in (94cm) w, 20.25in (51.6cm) d. Replacements and restorations, with some re-veneering.
A George I walnut dressing table mirror, crossbanded and inlaid stringing, the later rectangular plate to a moulded frame, the box base fitted with a long drawer above three short ogee front drawers, on shaped bracket feet, 28in (71cm) h, 18in (45.5cm) w, 8.75in (22.5cm) d. Finials and handles later, some restoration, section of moulding off but present.
A mahogany secretaire bookcase, the associated top with a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base inlaid stringing and four long cedar lined drawers with embossed thistle brass handles on bracket feet, early 19th century and later, 79.75in (202.3cm) h, 34.25in (86.7cm) w, 17.75in (44.6cm) d.
A late George III mahogany serpentine commode, calamander and satinwood banded, the moulded edge top above four long graduated drawers, fitted foliate cast brass handles, on shaped bracket feet, 36.75in (93.5cm) h, 45in (114cm) w, 23.25in (59cm) d. Possibly Irish, replacements and restorations.
An early 19th Century bracket clock, the eight day movement striking on bell, the backplate engraved with a border of lunettes, white enamel dial, by Butler, Reading, contained in arched mahogany veneered case, the front inlaid in brass with lozenge, fleur-de-lys and foliate sprigs, on bun feet, brass carrying handles, Gothic arched fretwork side panels, 42cm high.
A George III longcase clock, the eight day movement with enamel dial, seconds dial, by John Kent, Manchester, the centre painted with figures in rural landscape, the spandrels painted with female figures emblematic of the Four Seasons, the lunar arch with twin globes contained in mahogany case, the trunk door with gothic arch flanked by cluster column pilasters, on ogee bracket feet, approx 257cm high
