A carved oak court cupboard of 18th century origins, the raised back with carved lunette frieze, 3 carved figural pillars and 4 diamond carved panels, 2 with hinges, the base with 2 cupboards enclosed by double false drawer fascias with smaller central cupboard and 3 drawers below, all with brass swan neck handles, on ogee bracket feet, width 60"
A mid 19thC flamed mahogany long case clock, with swan neck turned pillared hood, over a broad trunk with short door and similar base with bracket feet, the dial painted with an interior scene with figures and spinning wheel, the spandrels with buildings, Roman numerals, with subsidiary seconds and date rings and marked LISTER, HALIFAX, eight-day movement striking a bell, 244cm high.
A George III mahogany and inlaid longcase clock:, bordered with boxwood lines, the hood with a moulded swan neck broken pediment and reeded columns, the trunk enclosed by a waist panel triple ogee pointed door, flanked by cluster columns, on ogee bracket feet, the arched enamel 14 3/4in dial with roman numerals lunar phase, a painted scene of sporting figure with gun and dog to the arch and female figures emblematic of the seasons painted en grisaille to the spandrels, the dial with seconds and calendar subsidiaries, indistinctly signed Thos. Lister, Halifax, the twin train movement with anchor escapement and bell strike, 237.5cm high.
An antique walnut and inlaid escritoire:, bordered with boxwood and ebony lines, the upper part with a moulded cornice and cushion frieze drawer, the hinged quarter veneered fall decorated with geometric quatrefoil lines enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes, a small drawer and a later revolving small chest of drawers/cabinet, the lower part containing two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, 90cm wide. (early 18th Century and later).
