A Coalport trio, finely painted reserves of summer flowers within gilt scroll borders on a powder blue ground/Literature: Godden (G A) Caughley and Worcester Porcelains 1775-1800, p.97, pl.166 Condition Report: Coffee cup and tea cup have restoration to the lower part of the handle (the scroll ‘bracket’). The coffee cup has slight discoloration to interior and a small area of restoration to the inner rim. The saucer has two slight frits to the rim and wear to the gilt at the extremities.
An early 19th Century mahogany chest with brushing slide over four long drawers on bracket feet, 84cm (33") wide Condition Report: The chest has some scratches and ring marks to the top, the brushing slide not baize lined but badly scratched, old handle marks visible, nice scrolls to bracket feet.

A William and Mary laburnum and olive wood chest of two short and three long drawers, on bracket feet, 96.5cm (38") wide/see illustration Condition Report: Geometric banding to top fairly crude some oysters spit the drawer fronts are of good quality and the top is presumed to be later. The drawers have new runners and the side panels are split to veneer borders it is on a later base frame and bracket feet.

A George II mahogany kneehole dressing chest, the rectangular top with moulded edge above a long drawer with slide and ten further drawers around and within the kneehole, set on ogee bracket feet, 104cm (41") wide/see illustration Condition Report: This lot has a very good rich colour, there is a split to the top, veneer slightly raised at sides, front right hand leg detached, slide re-leathered, minor repairs.
A mahogany longcase clock, the 33cm (13") arch brass dial with broken arch pediment and fluted pilaster above a cross banded door and base on ogee bracket feet, the dial signed Lowry, White Haven, 233.75cm (92") high/see illustration Condition Report: The clock is original and at present in working order, country house condition with lots of mildew inside case. Seems strange that the pillars are proud of the cornice but the cornice has been there a long time, the broken arch seems to finish abruptly leaving a disproportionate gap; maybe it once had an earlier lantern or bell top, long removed.
A brass serpentine shaped car horn with rubber blower, 40.5cm (16") long Condition Report: The rubber bulb is beginning to perish, it has the number 14 moulded to its surface. When squeezed it still produces a honk. Some surface wear and dents in line with age and usage. Brand name to one side in an oval ‘Deluxe’ and small letters to bracket ‘Made in India’.

George III mahogany longcased clock by Thomas Cawson, Liverpool, white painted break arch Roman dial with maritime rolling moon and floral spandrels, eight day striking movement, in a swan neck hood with eagle finials, gilded panels, plain columns, over a triple arch door flanked by full columns, on a cut corner base and ogee bracket feet, height 253cm (two weights, pendulum). *See clocks and watches proviso. A good 18th century mahogany eight day long case clock, the brass dial signed J.N.O. Pitts, Tilbury, beneath an ornate, cherub, arch, the case with blind fret, canted corners beneath a fret pierced and flowerhead carved pediment, the whole on ogee bracket feet, maximum height 244cm. Condition Report: We do not operate the clocks to see if in working order and do not guarantee the workings. There are three holes drilled into the brass dial where the movement posts are connected therefore uncertain if the movement is original. The seating boards are built up. The edge of the trunk door has some damage together with the back legs missing.
An 18th century mahogany chest on chest the upper section of two short drawers over three graduated long drawers with canted corners, the lower section of three long graduated drawers on ogee bracket feet, height 185cm width 107cm. Condition Report: This is a mahogany veneered chest on chest with oak drawer linings. One of the bracket feet is broken but we have the foot inside the drawer. Some of the detailed moulding is broken and missing. Small areas of veneer are missing together with some cockbeading. A 3" section of moulding is missing where the two chests meet. There is general wear and tear throughout.
A Charles II oak joined chest, originally fitted with three long drawers, each having geometric applied mouldings but now that at the center has been adapted and the drawer front is now two doors, the interior is lined with printed paper including a portrait of Charles II and his queen, later bracket feet, width 98cm.
