A pair of gilt pricket candlesticks, of Spanish style, with foliate columns on tripod paw feet, 55cm high, together with a single pricket candle stick, a pair of white painted wall brackets, with shaped plateaus, on scrolling acanthus leaf supports and a single bracket with rectangular top above scrolling leaf support(6)
A fine 19th century tortoiseshell and brass bracket clock, with gilt moonphase dial, silvered chapter ring and date aperture, eight day striking bell movement, the case veneered in tortoiseshell decorated with Rococo style mounts, raised on scroll bracket feet, 35cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lot 258 - back right foot unattached, back left foot loose, cracks to tortoiseshell back left top corner, beading to door lifting, sections of moulding to back brackets have been repaired with wooden brackets, mechanism matched to case, clock strikes on half hour and hour, mechanism untested.
An early 19th century brass mounted mahogany bracket clock, with repeating mechanism, by Gravell & Son, London, the silvered dial with chapter ring and subsidiary strike and silent dial, surrounded by gilt metal spandrels, raised on brass bracket feet, stamped to the movement no.3920, 59cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lot 272 - repairs to veneers around front right and left finials, small chips to corners, old crack to top of pediment under finial, veneer to left side of base has been repaired, clock strikes when cord is pulled, handsome looking clock.
