A Victorian brass-cased circular open dial "holosteric" aneroid barometer by Naudet stamped PNHB (Pertuis, Naudet, Hulot & Bourgeois), the base of the dial with the PNHB trademark "holosteric barometer" and the unique serial number 9998. Diam 16cm. Together with a Bourdon & Richards Patent Paris brass-cased circular open-dial "Metallic Barometer" with 1849 and 1851 medal award stamps. Diam. 13 cm. The two barometers presented together suspended on an oak wall-hanging bracket shelf. (2)
A George I/II oak bureau, fall front revealing a stepped fitted interior with drawers and pigeonholes and with a sliding well cover, supported on square section lopers, over blind drawer and three further graduating drawers, on bracket feet with shaped apron, 86cm wide, 45cm deep, 99.5cm high
A carved oak Gothic style wall bracket, height 29cm, width 29cm, together with a metal bound treen grain bucket and cover, a horn handle riding crop with hallmarked silver ferrule, an African club and a modern travelling chessboard (5).Additional InformationThe grain holder cover is loose and has been snapped from the hinges, scuff scratches and wear throughout, the feral on the riding crop is af.
WINTERHALDER & HOFMEIER; an early 20th century German mahogany dome top repeating bracket clock, the matted brass dial with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring beneath three subsidiary dials, one for chime and silent, one to regulate speed and one to select the gongs, with eight day twin barrel movement striking on eight gongs, the case with demi-fluted corners, pilasters and brass paw feet, height 45cm, width 34cm, depth 25cm.Additional InformationCurrently running although this is no guarantee of working order, the case with general light scuffs and scratches throughout consistent with age, the veneer to the bottom right hand corner of the door has an old crack and has lifted slightly, there is a chip to the bevelled glass of the front door at about 1 o'clock and some marks to the wood here also, there is smaller chip to the edge of the bevelled glass towards the bottom right corner, the brass dial with some scratches and general wear, the material behind the side fret panels has faded from a red to a beige, general tarnishing to brass mounts throughout, the wood of the bevelled door is a slightly different colour and a different finish to the varnish.
WINTERHALDER & HOFMEIER; a late 19th/early 20th century mahogany cased bracket clock, the silvered dial with applied chapter ring and Roman numerals, below slow/fast subsidiary dial, with brass swing handle, height 29cm, together with a faux tortoiseshell eight day easel back travelling clock, height 8cm, (2) (af).Additional InformationThe bracket clock is missing its feet and is unstable, the case is heavily worn, knocks, scuffs and wear, complete with pendulum, losses to the case, the glass is cracked, the faux tortoiseshell clock is af with chips to the faux tortoiseshell, cracks to the glass and heavy wear.

An early 19th century eight day longcase clock, the later black painted face with applied brass detail and chapter ring, bearing Arabic and Roman numerals and subsidiary dial, in inlaid burr walnut and mahogany case, the hood with applied brass eagle finial raised on bracket feet, height 230cm, width 51cm, depth 24cm, with pendulum and weights.Additional InformationAs stated the face has been later painted, complete with pendulum and weights, the hands with losses to the black painted detail, the case with splitting, knocks, scuffs and wear.
JOHN OWEN LLANRWST; an 18th century oak cased longcase clock, the brass face with applied silver chapter ring set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, inset with cross banded oak case raised on bracket feet, height 194cm. Additional InformationPanel to the base section has a vertical split through, there are scuffs, scrapes, some small splits, general wear throughout. Dirt and discolouration to dial, possible signs of historic worm. Appears to be a four pillar movement.
A late 19th century breakfront bookcase, the three astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, raised on bracket feet, length 125cm, depth 38cm, height 121cm (af).Additional InformationThere are large splits to the top and side panels, the central door is warped and will not close shut, knocks, scuffs, water damage and wear.
An early 19th century mahogany secretaire bookcase with moulded cornice above two astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, above a secretaire drawer enclosing nine drawers and five pigeon holes, with later leather skiver, over three graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, height 218cm, width 98cm, depth 41.5cm.Additional InformationThe oval section of the glass door on the left hand side has two old imperfections in the glass but these are non structural, the base section of the secretaire is sun faded. The brass handles to the base section are not original. An old veneer repair to the front left corner of the base section and a crack to the front right corner of the base section. One of the drawers with a crack to the left hand side, general age wear patina of light scratches and scuffs throughout commensurate with age and use.
An early 20th century mahogany bookcase, the pair of astragal glazed doors, enclosing an arrangement of two glass and two wooden shelves, raised on bracket feet, length 112cm, depth 33cm, height 140.5cm.Additional InformationScratches, scuffs, knocks, two of the shelves are obviously replacements, two panels are cracked.
