the break arch case with folding handle and rectangular brass scale fret side panels, the silvered scroll engraved 7inch dial signed ‘Jas Tregent, Watchmaker to the Prince of Wales, London’, with strike/silent to the arch and date aperture below, twin fusee movement signed to the backplate, on a stepped base with block feet 38cm high (with handle folded), 26cm wide; with a mahogany wall bracket, 30cm high (drawer to one side, some old wear and tear).Footnote: James Tregent is recorded in Britten's "Old Clocks and Watches & Their Makers" as working in London at 35 Strand in 1775 and then at 29 Cranborne Street, Leicester Square by 1780.Condition report: Currently ticking. The case with old repairs and presumably stained mahogany veneers. Shrinkage cracks to top (see photos).Private deceased estate sale.

An early 19th Century mahogany long case clock with extensive Sheraton style inlaid decoration, the hood with swan neck pediment and square side pillars, triple arched door and square reeded side pillars to the trunk on ogee bracket feet with arched painted dial with moon phase to the arch by Jno Bavnish, Rochdale. It is It is quite likely to be in going order, but is not sold as such and may require some attention to movement and case. The weights and pendulum are present. The dial has been repainted. The clock has been cleaned/restored at some time in the last 20-30 years.

A very large diorama model of a Foster of Lincoln Threshing Machine in approximate 1 1/2 inch scale with working parts, tool box, ladder and figures with sheaves of corn together with a Foster elevator on transportation wheels. The machinery being driven by a Robey Portable steam engine having blued steel cladding to boiler with detailed rivet work, single cylinder mounted to the top of the boiler with steam inlet control, steam pressure gauge, safety valve, motion and fitted speed governor, chimney rest bracket, hand operated brake gear with wooden brake blocks, eccentric driven water pump to side, a pair of wooden horse shafts and two heavy horses in full leather working harness with farm workers in foreground. The whole model set on plinth bases and was built by Mr C W Glenworth of Louth. * Please note: This fine large diorama is formed in three parts and can be easily moved or displayed separately.

A period model of a live steam colliery engine, the six spoked flywheel supported on four polished steel columns with open crank, bearings with brass oiler cups, eccentric driven steam valve to single vertical cylinder 1 1/2 inch bore by 3 inch stroke. Cylinder drain-cock, 'wish-bone style' connecting rod with bracket guide, eccentric driven water pump from over-crank and the whole supported on cast iron sole plate. 17cm by 17cm. Overall Height 38cm.

VINTAGE OAK COILED GONG STRIKE BRACKET CLOCK, the movement backplate stamped 'R S M' before a silvered dial set with Roman numerals and gilt spandrels (one hand loose), the case architectural style with tiled dome effect and turned finials, bevelled glass view side panels and door, turned and block carved pillars on a shaped face with bun feet, pendulum and key included (some work required to the case)
