AN 18TH CENTURY DUTCH WALNUT AND MARQUETRY BUREAU, the sloping fall all over inlaid with a vase of scrolling flowers and parrots, monkeys and other beasts, within a chequered border, the interior fitted with a central cupboard door above a well flanked by four short concave fronted drawers, all above two small, two short and two long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, with all over conforming scrolling foliate marquetry, 39½" wide. A Napoleon III Boullework veneered and gilt bronze mounted workbox, circa 1870, with cavetto edged cover and ogee moulded sides, the angles with foliate cast feet with busts above, the fitted interior with lift out tray, 15cm high, 39cm wide, (one corner bracket/foot detached) Condition Report:** Large areas of marquetry are missing from the exterior surfaces, virtually all brass elements, although small areas of tortoiseshell are missing too. Other veneers are loose. One rear foot is detached, but present with the Lot. The interior is in far better shape - dirty overall though.
A Jaeger-Le Coultre gilt brass ‘Atmos’ timepiece, 20th century, the movement with torsion balance escapement and automatically wound via the espansion and contraction of an aneroid chamber at the rear of the movement, with circular white Roman numeral dial in brushed gilt brass four glass case with reeded columns to angles and on integral bracket feet, the movement numbered 407118, 24cm high, with original faux cream leather covered travelling box. Condition Report:** Movement appears to be in original condition albeit a little dirty/discoloured in places, will run but has not been tested for overall reliability or timekeeping. Dial is in good original condition as is the case which is generally disty with only very minor wear to original finish in a places.
A George II walnut and featherbanded chest on chest, circa 1735, the rectangular crossbanded top above two short and six long drawers, bracket feet, 166cm high, 106cm wide, 57cm deep Condition Report:** Marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Some old closed splits, minor chips. Evidence of old worm. Some sections of replacement and losses to veneers. Locks and handles replaced. Later 18th century lock escutcheons. Feet later/ later elements to feet. Later supporting blocks to interior of carcass. Evidence of old worm to minor extent. Some warpings to drawers causing gaps. Some evidence of surface litter. Additional "bubbling" to veneer, splitting and veneer repair to top. Plugged/filled holes to exterior where previous handles located. Escutcheons are indented and very worn. Two lowest escutcheons vary in design from others. Lacking locks to top right drawer and bottom drawer.

Old closed splits. Some sections of replacement and losses to veneers and moulding. Handles replaced. Locks replaced and escutcheons. Later glass/mirrored plate. Evidence of old wormMinor chips. Side panels are walnut. One bag of loose mouldings and interior fittings to present inside the bureau. In sections of side panels, walnut appears to have suffered a kind of `washed down` or bleached effect to patination of surface and colour. Holes (plugged to exterior), are present to exterior and interior of drawer front where previous handles attached. Feet later - would likely have been walnut veneered bracket feet or possibly bun feet
A George III oak coffer bach, circa 1760, the hinged lid above twin panelled front, two small drawers on bracket feet, 49cm high, 55cm wide, 36cm deep Condition Report:** Marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Lacking key and lid locked. Hinges and lock replaced, also later catch to underside of top. Drawer linings later replaced. Top appears to be original. No obvious significant damage. Old closed splits. Evidence of old worm. Minor chips. Evidence to rear panel and rear edge of top (holes and lacquer cut out section) where previous hinges have been placed.

Metal bracket to underside of one arm securing old break near connection with upright.
A George III mahogany piecrust tripod table, circa 1770, the wavy edge top on a turned and carved stem, on carved tripod base, 69cm high, 83cm diameter Condition Report:** Marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Old closed splits. Cleaned/repolished. Minor chips. Top/base probably associated. Later re-varnished. Carving to edge of topa nd base is probably later as fairly crudely executed. Metal fitting fastening top to stem has been replaced. Replacement of stretchers beneath top and wear beneath top suggests top and base are associated. One foot previously broken off and re-attached with assistance of a metal bracket beneath the foot.
A mahogany pedestal desk, circa 1780 and later, the rectangular top with gilt tooled red leather inset above an arrangement of drawers, the opposing side with a drawer and a pair of cupboards, on plinth bases, 79cm high, 168cm wide, 122cm deep .Please note: This desk is of late 19th/early 20th century manufacture in George III style, and not as described in the catalogue.Condition Report:** Marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. One carved bracket to top of one rear leg is detached and one plain bracket at top of same rear leg is detached. There are no makers stamps or marks. Marble top is later associated to the table, in two sections and fits the table very poorly.Castors sunken beneath feet are worn down.
