Depth of cabinet approx 31 cm. Some bashes and knocks throughout including to the very top piece. Areas of bubbling to the base veneer, surface scratches, etc. Glass is intact. No signs of woodworm. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. Appears to be missing a piece from the top. See images for more details.

A Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid side cabinet, the single glazed door of shaped form enclosing a red velvet lined interior flanked by medieval revival mask capped gilt brass pilasters raised on a bracket foot base 84 cm wide x 109 cm high x 32 cm deep CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound, the top has some repair and re-colouring with presumably Indian ink - see images. Brasswork slightly tarnished throughout, though basically again sound. Woodwork to the front has knocks dents and scratches conducive with age and use to the surface. Some areas of repair/old re-colouring with Indian ink particularly to bottom left and top right beneath the brasswork. The base has restaining to both extremities. Side panels to left with splitting, to right light splitting and darker colour obviously out of the sun. The red velvet interior is discoloured throughout with evidence of former inhabitants i.e. chinawares or glasswares

A set of three 19th Century mahogany framed dining chairs in the Chinese Chippendale taste, the latticework backs over drop in seats on square supports united by stretchers CONDITION REPORTS Chair 1 - whilst basically sound, there are signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. The rear latticework splat with split to the top triangular section, left hand side (see image). Old knot mark or repair to the top rail. Vertical split previously filled with remnants of filler showing along the rear of the upright (see images). Front left leg with split/missing area from the rear inside chamfered edge to the base.Chair 2 - again basically sound though with wear and tear conducive with age and use. Old knot marks to the top rail (see images). Basically sound throughout.Chair 3 - basically sound throughout, though with split to the rear of the latticework to the centre triangular lozenge section, left hand side (see image). Has wrought iron bracket to the rear left rail/back rail and various signs of damage to the top of the legs at the front (again see images). Seats probably all replacements though the rails are of some age.

A Victorian mahogany bow fronted chest, the top satinwood strung over two short and three long graduated drawers to splayed bracket feet 112 cm wide x 54 cm deep x 106 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound, the chest shows wear and tear conducive with age and use throughout with several areas of denting, scratching, surface marks, etc. Some areas of replacement veneer particularly to edge of drawers. Blue paper lined drawers with signs of staining - again conducive with age and use.

Possible repair to the fall front. No handles or evidnace of there ever being any. Damage to feet particuarly one, with areas of moulding missing near it. It has been in a smokers house. General wear and tear condcive to age and use. See images for more details. Approx 121cm length x 57cm depth x 115cm high.

A modern burr walnut and cross-banded secretaire chest in the Georgian style, the top with moulded edge over a fitted secretaire drawer and three further drawers raised on bracket feet, 114 cm wide x 48 cm deep x 97 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Fairly new so in good condition generally throughout though with some light surface scratching to the varnish / polish to the top and in other areas too conducive with day to day use by its last owner. Leather with creasing down the centre at the joint. Otherwise good.

A 19th Century mahogany linen press, the moulded and dentil cornice over two panelled doors enclosing a hanging space (formerly with shelves) over three long graduated drawers with brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, 129 cm wide x 59 cm deep x 180.8 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The piece has several areas of damage and repair throughout including re-colouring with what appears to be Indian ink in some areas and damage and cracking to the veneers and some loss particularly to the top section, including the two doors. The side panels appear basically sound. The interior is missing the shelves, now replaced with a brassed hanging rail. The drawers seem basically sound though again with wear and tear conducive with age and some repairs to the veneers particularly to the left hand side between the two top drawers and mirrored to the right hand side - see images for further detail

An early 18th Century walnut chest, the cross-banded top with moulded edge above three short and three long graduated drawers with brass teardrop handles, raised on bracket feet, 104 cm wide x 56.5 cm deep x 95.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has large filled split to the veneer top with several areas of veneer lifting though quite possibly some time ago. Several areas of other splitting other than the large one. Wear conducive with age and use to the extremities/edges of the top. Repaired split to the left corner. Handles whilst contemporary looking, not original, as evidence of old handles prior to these. Drawer linings with splitting in some areas (see images). Third drawer down with area of woodworm to the lower edge all the way along - old and now dead. Bottom drawer again with some signs of old woodworm towards the base and slightly bowed, particularly to the centre. Side panels with large vertical split and areas of damage and repaired damage to the front corner edge on both sides. Rear panels appear intact. Feet possibly not original but of some age. A modern blue velvet upholstered "Loaf" sofa on ebonised bracket feet approx. 191 cm wide x 88 cm deep x 85 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The piece appears basically sound throughout with no signs of ripping or damage. There is some marking to both side panels and wear to the feet conducive with day to day use. Could arguably do with a clean or at least a good brush down, particularly the side panels. An early 18th Century walnut chest, the quartered and cross banded top with moulded edge over two short and three long graduated drawers each boxwood strung with circular medallion decoration and brass foliate drop handles raised on bracket feet 99.5 cm wide x 56.5 cm deep x 95 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound throughout, there are signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use again throughout. The top has basically good colour though some insets to the veneers, damage and dirt in several areas, all arguably requiring attention. There are some areas of loose veneer, cracking and splitting throughout. The handles, whilst having the appearance of orginality, are later with evidence of at least two other pairs of handles previously. Again drawer fronts basically good colour though with areas of splitting, filling etc (see images for further detail). Drawer liners with some splitting and taping in several areas. Feet appear to be original, if not, at least early. Side panels with some splitting and loss (again see images) to both sides. Back panels again appear original (see images for further detail)
