A late Victorian mahogany chiming table clock, the traditional shape case with folding gilt handle above 19cm brass dial having Chime/Silent, Slow/Fast, and Chime on 8 Bells/Westminster Chime dials to the arch, silvered chapter ring and matted centre, with triple fusee movement numbered 3435 chiming on 8 bells and striking on a gong, all on brass bracket feet 57 x 39cm (22 x 15in)
A Queen Anne walnut bureau bookcase, with arched glazed doors enclosing a fitted interior of small drawers and a central cupboard, above a fall enclosing further small drawers and a well compartment, further drawers to the base on later bracket feet 206 x 108 x 65cm (80 x 42 x 25in) Sections of border moulding are missing, underside reveals holes for original bun feet. Door mirrors have been replaced by pleated silk backed glass. The ornate cast gilt brass handles are later and the central cupbard to the interior fitment of the top has broken hinges.
A George I walnut chest on chest, the upper part with two short and three long drawers between fluted columns, the lower part with brushing slide and three long drawers, the lowest with 'sunburst' marquetry panel, on bracket feet 178 x 105 x 59cm (69 x 41 x 23in) Apart from one handle which is off, the overall condition is considered to be good, with an acceptable degree of fading.
