Moigniez', in the baroque style with twin handles, decorated with a bird and her two chicks, raised on six floral bracket feet, velvet lined interior, 5 ¾in. (14.6cm.) high, tarnished. * Provenance: The Sladmore Gallery, London, 1968. A similar casket was exhibited by Moigniez at the Great Exhibition in London, 1862. ** Condition: Silvered finish tarnished, a little gilt wear. Otherwise in good condition.
