A Victorian pine breakfront dresser, the upper section with adjustable shelving and two glazed panelled doors on base of three drawers and two cupboard doors to bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS Quite heavy wear and stains. Old woodworm holes, and a large area of woodworm damage and loss to left edge of lower section where the door hinges would fit (door currently unattached). Various old splits and chips.
Mahogany press or wardrobe, the upper part with an arcaded frieze over two panelled doors with satinwood panels now enclosing a hanging space, over two short and two long cock beaded drawers with oval panels, raised on ogee bracket feet, width 125cm. A Victorian mahogany table cabinet, the rectangular top with moulded edge above a crossbanded frieze and pair of panelled cupboard doors enclosing a sliding centre section of apertures and pigeonholes and fitted with a drawer beneath and raised on ogee bracket feet. Width 16.5 ins, height 19.5 ins, depth 11 ins (see illustration).
A George III mahogany longcase clock by Foster of Whitehaven, with swans neck pediment with Verre Eglomise glass panels beneath, with arched door enclosing the 13 inch arched painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and eight day striking movement, flanked on either side by fluted columns, with long trunk door beneath also flanked by fluted quarter columns and with conforming base raised on bracket feet. A 19th century oak standing corner cupboard, with moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors to the upper section, the lower half with further pair of panelled doors and all flanked by canted angles and raised on bracket feet, bearing label "Sir Henry Vane, Bassenthwaite Station, Near Keswick". A George III oak dresser base, with matched Delft rack, the rack with Greek Key moulded cornice above a shaped apron and four shelves beneath with plate retainers, the base with moulded edge above three central drawers with brass drop handles flanked on either side by a cupboard door and with shaped apron and bracket feet beneath.
