George III Fine Lancashire Solid Oak Mule Chest Blanket Box. c.1760 - 1770. Made of Solid Oak With The Most Beautiful Patina, The Front as 4 Front Panels and Below This There are Two Drawers, The Ends of Coffer are also Panelled, The Top Is of 2 Plank Construction, Standing on Bracket Feet. AN 18TH CENTURY STYLE LACQUERED BRACKET CLOCK of waisted form with a circular dial, indistinctly signed and inscribed "Zenith", with a three train movement striking on gongs, the waisted rounded case with all over gilt floral decoration, on scrolling feet and a matching wall bracket, the clock 25" high x 13" wide, the bracket 9.5" high x 14" wide.
AN OLIVEWOOD CASED BRACKET CLOCK by Charles Goode, London (fl. 1686-1730), the brass dial with strike/silent ring above a silvered chapter ring enclosing a date aperture and visible pendulum bob, with a two train fusee movement striking on two bells, the elaborate backplate signed "Cha. Goode, London", the case surmounted by a gilt carrying handle and domed top, the sides with glazed fretwork panels, 18th century, 18" high x 11" wide. See illustration Charles Goode was made Free of the Clockmakers Company in 1686 with workshops in the Strand employing a number of apprentices. Similarities between his work and that of George Graham and Daniel Quare have been noted, with some considering him one of the great underrated makers of his age.Please note it has been suggested that the timber may be another exotic wood

A late 18th Century oak longcase clock With a twin swan-neck pediment above a break arch painted dial, the thirteen inch dial painted with Arabic numerals with two subsidiary dials and with a thirty hour movement, the dial painted with gilt fan spandrels and flanked by two reeded columns, the case with a shaped door and conforming quarter columns and a panelled front board raised on bracket feet, with one weight and pendulum, height win finial 240cm.
