Patent', with internal gilt detail and manufacturer's mark 'Klingsor In - & Auslands A-Patente', the twin panelled doors with carved detail, raised on bracket feet, height 84cm, width 42.5cm, depth 38cm.Provenance: The Norman Roland Collection of Mechanical Music.Additional InformationScuffs and scrapes to the case, particularly where the winding handle has worn against the body. Further wear and tear, rubbing to detail, etc throughout. There is a split to the right side of the case and further scratches throughout. There are some chips and losses. Stamped No.26126 and 471 to back of case. Handle requires a little 'fiddling' but does work and is now fully wound; some attention and restoration required.
