A GOOD LATE VICTORIAN ENGLISH EBONISED BRACKET CLOCK BY BIRCH & GAYDON, LONDON, eight day movement with Westminster chime, the case with bell top pediment having a brass handle above gilt dial with subsidiary 'strike/silent' and 'slow/fast' dials to the arch, maker's name and address on silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and with Rococo spandrels. The stepped case having applied gilt metal mounts, filigree and red silk side panels, all on gilt metal bracket feet, 42.5cms high Condition Report: excellent, appears to be complete without later replacement parts, case structurally sound without signs of splitting or raising, working at time of cataloguing but without guarantee - please view. Door key and winder key with us. Provenance: Cardiff Estateslight paint cracking at the top of each side.
An early 20c German bracket clock by Winterhalder and Hoffmieir in oak case with round top and stepped base and having florally carved front corners and top arch. The sides have pierced oak side frets (one a/f) and the round top silvered dial has Roman numerals and strikes/silent and the pendulum regulation dials. The barrelled spring movement has a Ting Tang strike on two gongs and the clock stands 18.5in tall overall.
A mid 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12in dial brass dial signed Hampson, Wrexham No.807 and having Turks head spandrels, engraved dial centre, ringed winding holes and date and seconds indications. The four pillar movement has ringed and knopped pillars, rack strike and anchor escapement and is contained in an oak case crossbanded with walnut. The hood has a caddy top (loose) and two gilt finials and a band of fretwork above the dial. The hood door has attached columns and the long rectangular trunk door has a walnut crossbanded edge. The base has a rectangular applied panel with crossbanded edges and bracket feet and the clock stands 87in tall overall.
An eight day longcase clock with 12in arched brass dial composed of parts from other clocks. The associated movement is four pillar and rack striking on a bell and has anchor escapement. It is contained in an oak case crossbanded with mahogany. The arched hood has swan neck pediments and the fluted columns have Corinthian capitals. The long trunk door has a double pointed top and is crossbanded in mahogany and it is flanked by fluted quarter columns. The base is plain and has a plinth with bracket feet, 85in tall overall.
George III black-lacquered chinoiserie brass-dial eight day longcase clock, William Liptrot, London, circa 1760, the 12" break arch brass dial having a silvered chapter ring with inner quarter hour track, Roman hours and Arabic minutes, signed Will'm Liptrot, London, framing a matted centre with silvered subsidiary seconds ring, all within Baroque mask spandrels, the arch with silvered Strike/Silent ring, knopped five-pillar movement striking on a bell, the hood with fretwork spandrels over gilt hood door and columns, long trunk door with gilt relief scene and conforming base on bracket feet, 218cm high Condition: Dial - minor wear to top of brass arch of dial plate, light tarnishing to silvered chapter ring between numerals VI and VII, calendar ring is operational, movement appears clean and sound but is not tested or guaranteed, there is no packing beneath the seat board, case has been cleaned and partly relacquered, horizontal crack across base, minor cracking to hood frame and no backing to spandrels, sold with two bronze-sleeved weights plus pendulum - **General condition consistent with age

Victorian mahogany bowfront wardrobe, the pelmet with boxwood and sconce frieze above two panel doors with crossbanding and Greek key inlay which open to reveal a base drawer with full length rail above, all raised upon bracket feet, 225cm tall, 130cm wide and 57cm deepCondtion Report:Generally in clean order. Interior depth is 48 cm. Doors don't appear warped but are shaped. The wardrobe appears original.

Victorian Gothic Revival golden oak-cased triple fusee bracket or table clock, Bennett, 65 & 64 Cheapside, London, the pentafoil-arched silvered Roman dial with Slow/Fast and Strike/Silent rings, in architectural case with stepped gable, the sides with lancet tracery, 66.5cm high Condition: Minor tarnishing to silvered dial, movement back plate is unsigned but gong black is stamped F.D within a lozenge, movement does not appear to have any wire/gut or chain to barrels and would therefore require renovation, case has minor damage to pierced tracery of side panels and some staining to rear door fabric, otherwise in good condition, sold with pendulum and winder - **General condition consistent with age
