A large mahogany breakfront wardrobe, in the Chippendale manner, stamped to top drawer 'Phillips, Bristol', with dentil moulded cornice above panelled doors decorated with carved foliate panels, flanked by two tall doors, three graduated drawers, raised on bracket supports, 220cm high x 246cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Lot 806 - Left door has hanging space behind, middle door has slides and right has hanging space. Various pieces of fretwork lacking to doors, colour faded in areas, nicks, chips and scuffs especially along edges on feet, escutcheon lacking for left door, no keys, drawers move freely, part of right handle to top drawer lacking, usable condition, possibly stained at a later date.
A late 18thC mahogany longcase clock, having a pagoda hood, fretwork panels and stop-fluted pillared flanks, above a flame veneered, arched pendulum door, raised on a bracket plinth; the 8 day bell strike movement faced by an engraved, lacquered brass dial with applied spandrels, a strike/silent, a silvered steel Roman chapter ring, a calender and a subsidiary dial inscribed Benj. A George III bureau bookcase, circa 1790, the dentil cornice above frieze with interspersed fluting and shell motif decoration, over a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base with fall opening to central cupboard and an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes above two short and three long graduated drawers, the whole on plinth base and bracket feet, 220cm high 109cm wide, 50cm deep
An early 19th century mahogany cased bracket clock, for restoration, the caddy top above circular dial (now unattached), inscribed "James Burroughs, Ironbridge", set with Roman numerals housing an eight day fusee movement, flanked by brass fish reel side plate and raised on turned brass form feet, height 45cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial chipped, rubbed and separated from movement. Pendulum present but only hour hand present. Seems original and complete otherwise but in need of restoration. Case slightly scuffed.
A Victorian Gothic oak bracket clock, the arched case with engraved dial inscribed "Edwards, Northwich 1880", with eight day twin fusee movement above an arched frieze and plinth base, height 55cm. CONDITION REPORT: Width 13 inches. Depth 9 inches. Missing carved pediment to both side to surfaces. Split to each side above aperture and torn silk.
An early 19th century oak longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above arched painted dial set with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds hand and sate aperture housing and eight day movement above arched door beneath applied presentation plaque and plinth base to ogee bracket feet, height 232cm.
