An early 20th century Japanese silver tea caddy, unmarked, of rectangular form with a pull off cover, wooden lined with inner wooden cover, decorated with irises against a spot hammered background, 11.5cm high by 13cm long by 10cm wide, and a small Japanese silver dish, by Arthur & Bond, Yokohama circa 1900, of spot hammered circular form with a raised border of dragons supported on bracket feet, 10cm diameter, af. An Edwardian mahogany bracket clock, the arched brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, with three subsidiary dials for Chime/Silent, Slow/Fast and Chime on Eight Bells/ Westminster, the three train movement striking the quarters on eight bells and striking the hour on a gong, in a gilt mounted case surmounted with pine cone finials, 65cm high
Edwardian small silver basket of oval form with floral scroll piercing and engraving , floral scroll applied rim and raised above four conforming bracket feet. Hallmarked London 1901. Length measuring 6 inches (15 cm), width measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 5.7 ozt (180 grams). Condition: The basket appears to be in generally good condition with minor surface marks and scratches. The metal is slightly bent or dented in a couple of places in the pierced decoration, but otherwise okay.The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still very clear.
Victorian silver three piece silver tea service, each piece of bellied facetted form engraved with acanthus leafs and scroll surrounds to hanging fruit, each raised above four scroll bracket feet. Hallmarked Sheffield 1880 and the makers mark CB only visible to the teapot. Gross weight 39.5 ozt (1231.5 grams). Condition: The tea service displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the makers mark rubbed,completely rubbed to the sugar and cream.
Victorian silver mounted cruet stand of oval form, the body engraved with swags of floral wreaths, raised above four acanthus leaf mounted bracket feet and central loop handle, six glass inserts, some at fault, one deficient, and two with silver mounts. Hallmarked Birmingham 1864, the maker possibly Elkington & Co. Height measuring 12 1/4 inches (31.5 cm). Condition:
A 20th century silver table cigarette box of rectangular shape, the lid with shaped rim and engine turned decoration, the whole on four bracket feet. Hallmarked WWC, Birmingham 1947. Length measures 7 inches (18cm). Condition: There are general surface marks and scratches all over the box. Some of these scratches are deeper and more noticeable in places. There are some other minor nicks/dints in the metal. The engine turned decoration is a little bit rubbed in places. The hinged lid is in good working order although it doesn`t close completely tightly on one side. The full hallmarks on the exterior are a little rubbed (especially date letter), but still legible. Part hallmarks to interior are very clear.
A German oval basket, stamped 800, with open work edge, gadrooned rim and raised above four scroll bracket feet. Length measuring 9 inches (23 cm), weight 9.34 ozt (290 grams). Condition: The German basket is in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing. 800 stamped clear and legible, remnants of further marks just visible.
A mid 20c English bracket clock by the British Clock Co, Perivale. The 17c style dome top case is in mahogany and has a 6" square brass dial with silver chapter ring and cast Turks head spandrels. The three train barrelled spring movement is quarter striking on four straight rods and the case bears a presentation plaque for 1949, 13" tall overall.
