The rococo style clock finely painted with an architectural scene, birds, and gilt scrolls on a bleu celeste ground and raised on a matching porcelain bracket style base, contains original movement, later electrified. In Rococo style, the central tazza well chased and repoussed with reticulated rocaille, rose blossoms and extending scrolled acanthus surmounting scallop shell form coupes with silver liners raised on large acanthus and rocaille bracket feet. Inscribed and monogramed with presentation date 3 April 1873-1898. Inscribed on edge "Sy & Wagner Berlin 800 1181-12". Length 23.5 inches, height 11.5 inches (59.5 x 29 cm), weight 82 troy oz.
