A good Victorian silver salver by Daniel & Charles Houle, London, 1860, with shell and scroll borders on three conforming bracket feet, centre engraved with petalled geometric scrollworkm around a vacant reserve, 33 cm. diameter, wt. 915 gm. Good sturdy condition, some minor surface scratches, good marks, centre solid with no signs of erasure or of ever having been engraved.
William Lancaster, Plymouth Dock, a late-18th century mahogany long case clock, the arched hood, (finials lacking), above an arch waist panel door enclosed by fluted canted corners, on plinth base and bracket feet, the restored arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, calendar aperture and second subsidiary, scenic engraving to the centre, the twin-trained eight-day movement striking on a bell, two lead weights and pendulum, 208cm high.
