A French mid 19th Century bracket clock, having an eight-day movement striking on a gong, of Bonelle design, the glazed door with pierced gilt metal decoration of a seated maiden, the whole ormolu mounted and fitted a segmented white enamel dial with Roman numerals, 48.25cm (19") high, complete with bracket decorated flutes and with scrolls to the base
A late 18th Century oak longcase thirty-hour clock, the hood with swan neck having a mahogany surround, diaper banding and turned columns to the sides, the trunk with rounded pillars to the sides enclosed by a panel door on bracket feet, fitted a square brass dial with pierced spandrels and matted centre, the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and inscribed Rich. Phillips Ashburne, 202cm (79.25") high (see illustration)
