A cased Victorian Scottish four piece silver tea service, James Reid & Co, Glasgow 1887, each piece of circular form and profusely embossed with decorative Arabesque bands of scrolls and birds, the central band of each with embossed Indian deities, comprising; a teaport, 11.5cm high, a hot water ewer, 20cm high, a sugar bowl with silver gilt interior, 6.5cm high and a cream jug with silver gilt interior, 6.5cm high, together with a cased silver rectangular tray, with canted corners and conforming engraved decoration and raised on four scroll bracket feet, 42cm x 31cm, and a pair of associated silver sugar tongs, all retailed by D.C. A SILVER PLATED LOCKING THREE-BOTTLE TANTALUS having a carrying handle, tambour style locking mechanism and shaped and engraved ends, the three canted and hob nail cut glass decanters with faceted stoppers, each held in a canted square division, the platform base raised on bracket feet, impressed number 2815 to underside. 33cm(h) x 31.5cm(w) x 15cm(d) Condition Report: Tarnishing, wear and minor knocks, some chipping to decanter bases, key missing.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY WALNUT EIGHT-DAY BRACKET CLOCK by Unghans, having an arched surmount with reeded ornament, square bevelled glazed door with scroll carved panel and reeded columns, silvered dial with Arabic hours framed by applied spandrels, raised on a platform base, the movement marked `Unghans` striking on rods. 48cm(h) Condition Report: Minor marks and scratches, hinge damage to rear door, bending to hammers, viewing advised.
A LATE VICTORIAN OAK-CASED TRIPLE-FUSEE DOUBLE CHIME BRACKET CLOCK of large proportions, having a stipple carved stepped caddy top, rectangular glazed door flanked by turned and carved Corinthian columns with spirally fluted detail and stepped plinth base with stylised petal carving, the dial with three subsidiary silvered dials for chime/silent, slow/fast and eight bell/four gongs over the chapter ring of Roman hours and Arabic minutes, enclosing the three winding apertures, all enclosed by applied ornate gilt-metal cherub and foliate decoration, the triple-fusee brass movement marked 4722. 66.5cm(h) x 44.5cm(w) x 32.5cm(d) Condition Report: The caddy top loose with lower part re-attached, minor marks and scratches, minor wear to dial, once having a presentation plaque to the platform base.
A LATE 18TH CENTURY OAK EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK having a flat-topped hood, reeded frieze, square glazed door and turned columns, access doors to each side, the slender arched trunk door over a plain base with bracket feet, the brass dial with a silvered chapter ring of Roman hours and Arabic seconds framing the maker`s name John Sutton, Penrith, a rolling date aperture and two winding holes, all within applied brass spandrels 185.5cm(h) sold with weights and pendulum. *** Possibly John Sutton of Carlisle (1744-1825) John Sutton was the son of Quakers John and Ann (Creighton) Sutton of Penrith the family originally from Clifton, Westmorland. Condition Report: Additional blocks under seat board making the dial a possible association., marks and scratches to case etc.
