18TH CENTURY WALNUT STRAIGHT FRONTED CHEST of two short and three long drawers, the top with satinwood outlines and moulded edging, the drawers similarly satinwood strung with later brass swan neck handles on later bracket feet. 90 x 53 x 82cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally requiring restoration and some repair with missing mouldings, damaged and missing sections of veneer, splitting to veneers in sides, very dry and unloved.
VICTORIAN MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY, TWO TRAIN, LONG CASE CLOCK, having broken swan neck pediment, above arched aperture flanked by spirally and baluster turned pillars, the waist with a shaped door, flanked by similar spirally turned columns on a panelled base with ogee bracket feet. Arch painted face with Roman numerals, and figure and architectural decoration, having Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. Eight day, two train movement striking on one bell. 235cm high overall, face 50 x 36cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally very grubby, losses to veneers in places of fairly large proportions, wear to the face, seconds dial lacks finger, includes weights and pendulum.
19TH CENTURY WELSH MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK, by David Jones of Merthyr, having arched hood with arched aperture, flanked by spirally turned columns, the waist with strung outlined, moulded door flanked by quarter wrythen turned pilasters on a panelled base with bracket feet. Painted arched face with Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. Eight day, two train movement, striking on one bell. 214cm high, the face 46 x 32cm approx. CONDITION REPORT: Lacks original finials to the hood, face has some wear, basically fair condition.Has weights and pendulum.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY LOW TWO STAGE PRESS CUPBOARD, having a pair of strung, inlaid, blind panel doors revealing sliding shelves to the interior, the projecting base with matching two short and one long cock beaded drawers, on bracket feet. 120 x 55 x 138cm. CONDITION REPORT: Basically sound condition, short length of moulding missing from one side with similar problem on the other, minor losses to cock beading in places, but basically good overall.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK, TWO STAGE PRESS CUPBOARD, having fluted, moulded cornice over a pair of oval, panelled doors revealing sliding shelves to the interior, separate projecting base with three short and two long drawers on bracket feet, all with bone escutcheons. 123 x 201 x 56cm. CONDITION REPORT: A little pale in colour and dry to one end, otherwise basically appearing sound, splits to oval panels evident and carcase sides due to shrinkage. One moulding detached but with the item, one drawer escutcheon is missing.
18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY KNEEHOLE DESK OR DRESSING TABLE, having moulded edged top over frieze drawer opening to reveal brushing slide and fitted interior, three cock beaded drawers to each pedestal flanking recessed blind panel centre door on bracket feet. 90 x 54 x 81cm high. CONDITION REPORT: A little faded and pale, losses and damage to cock beading particularly on frieze drawer but also on other drawers, handles are not original, one does not match, otherwise basically sound. Feet appear to be replacements.
LARGE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY, LONG CASE CLOCK, by Thomas Webb of Cardigan, the case with broken swan neck pediment and grapes finial above arched aperture, flanked by baluster turned columns, the waist with shaped door flanked by similar baluster turned columns on a panel base with bracket feet. Arch painted face with rolling moon and fox hunting decoration, Roman numerals, seconds and date dials. Eight day, two train movement striking on one bell. 240cm high overall, the face, 50 x 35cm, approx. CONDITION REPORT: Generally well worn with areas of missing veneer, a little dry, scuffed, detached mouldings etc. Includes weights.Has its pendulum
LATE 18TH CENTURY WELSH OAK TWO STAGE, LOW PRESS CUPBOARD, having moulded and reeded cornice above a pair of ogee pointed arch panel doors, revealing fitted shelf to the interior, on a projecting base with an arrangement of five moulded short and long drawers, having turned knobs, the whole on bracket feet. 140 x 50 x 148cm. CONDITION REPORT: A little dry in places but basically good original condition with some patination and no significant, obvious damage, typical splitting to end panels and top, with age.
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK TWO STAGE PRESS CUPBOARD, having moulded cornice over two rectangular panelled doors, flanked by quarter pillasters and revealing two fitted shelves to the interior, the projecting base with three short and two long moulded edge drawers with bone escutcheons, all with later turned knobs, on pierced bracket feet. 130 x 56 x 205cm. CONDITION REPORT: Basically sound condition, a little dry and faded in places, some minor damp showing on back edge of one side, minor damage to drawer edges in places. One brass knob appears to be missing.
VICTORIAN WELSH OAK DOUBLE CORNER CUPBOARD, having swept cornice over a pair of moulded, glazed doors revealing two shelves to the interior, the base with mahogany veneered frieze over two blind panel doors on bracket feet. 115 x 50 x 209cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall clean condition with little or no noted damage, fair wear and tear accepted.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY STRAIGHT FRONTED CHEST of two short and three long, graduated drawers, having moulded edged top, cock beaded drawers with satinwood outlines, flanked by reeded pilasters, brass swan neck handles, standing on bracket feet. 124 x 54 x 115cm. CONDITION REPORT: Basically sound, but overall scuffed, marked and scratched in places commensurate with age, one back board particularly noted as being loose, missing locks to top three drawers.
MID 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK POT BOARD DRESSER, having boarded three shelf rack back with moulded cornice, the base with moulded edge, top over three cock beaded frieze drawers and two short cock beaded drawers below, flanking an arched frieze, all with turned knobs, on gun barrelled turned supports to the pot board base standing on bracket feet. 175 x 44 x 214cm.Provenance: From a private, North Pembs vendor, this dresser is believed to have originally been in Cardigan Castle and a photograph of the dresser with Miss Woods is included with the lot. Believed to have been made for her family c. 1840. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good medium colour, some wear and tear commensurate with age, one return moulding to the cornice is detached but with the lot, otherwise basically good.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK LOW PRESS CUPBOARD, having bead moulded top above geometrically inlaid frieze with two pointed ogee arch panelled doors below, flanked by canted angles, on a projecting base with two short centre drawers flanked by two deep moulded drawers, on bracket feet. 137 x 50 x 131cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good clean condition commensurate with age, the feet are probably replacements, otherwise no significant damage or losses, wear and tear commensurate with its age only.
GOOD QUALITY 18TH CENTURY STYLE WELSH OAK DRESSER, having projecting moulded cornice over the boarded rack back with two shelves, base with moulded edge top over three cock beaded drawers having brass swan neck handles, three blind, raised and fielded panel cupboard doors below on bracket feet. 162 x 49 x 208cm. CONDITION REPORT: A little grubby with paint splash in places, but basically sound with no damage.

Square painted face with Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, eight day movement striking on one bell. 223cm high overall, the face 34 x 34cm approx. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition overall, the face has been well re-painted, the case is in fair to good original condition, vertical splits to the base and lower panel, scuffs and wear commensurate with age, together with two weights and pendulum.
A George III oak and mahogany cross banded longcase clock, Grantham maker, square enamel dial with painted floral spandrels, dial bearing Roman numerals, eight day two train movement with bell strike, the case with swan neck pediment to the hood with fluted columns, shaped trunk door, raised on bracket feet, 211cm high.
