A 19th Century Mahogany Bookcase Circa 1800. The dentil moulded cornice above two glazed cupboard doors ornamented with double-moulded arch astrigal's and enclosing three height adjustable shelves. The lower section having two figured doors with re-entrant corner mouldings, opening to reveal a folio slide. Standing on bracket feet. 76 ins (193 cms) in height.
A Fine Quality 18th Century Mahogany Moonphase Eight Day Longcase Clock. The brass dial having decorative pierced & gilt brass spandrels to the corners, a silvered chapter ring signed Rob Wright, Kennoway and encircling an engraved centre with calendar aperture and subsidiary seconds dial. The arched top housing a painted moon roller. The flame mahogany hood having a swan-neck pediment above scrolling blind fret-work panels and a glazed door flanked by Corinthian stop fluted columns. The sides having a mirrored arches decorated with astrigal beading. The long trunk door with egg finial above the base raised on ogee bracket feet. 86 ins (219 cms) in height.
A George III Mahogany Serpentine Fronted Chest of fine colour & patination. The well figured top with raised centre above a cock-beaded brushing slide and three long graduated drawers flanked by fine stop-fluted corners standing on bracket feet. 36 ins (91 cms) in height, 43 ins (109 cms) in width, 23 ins (59 cms) in depth.
A Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest with Secrétaire. The upper section having a cavetto moulded cornice above three short and three long graduated drawers with cockbeaded edges flanked by canted corners enhanced with stop fluting. The lower section having three long drawers; the top drawer having a fall front enclosing a secretaire with a tooled leather insert, arched pigeon holes and six drawers to the back. Standing on bracket feet 74 ins (189 cms) in height, 42½ ins x 22 ins (108 cms x 56 cms).
A Fine George II Red Walnut Kneehole Desk of modest proportions. The edge-moulded top above a brushing slide, a long lip-moulded frieze drawer, arched kneehole drawer and recessed cupboard flanked by six lip-moulded side drawers set three either side with brass swing handles on winged back plates, raised on bracket feet, 31½ ins (80 cms) high, 29½ ins (75 cms) wide and 19 ins (48 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Walnut Chest on Chest. The upper section having a cavetto moulded cornice above two short and three long drawers edged in cock-beading, inlaid with feather stringing and retaining their original brass swing handles on winged back-plates with conforming escutcheons. The base housing three further long drawers raised on bracket feet, 68½ ins (177 cms) in height, 38 ins (97 cms) wide and 21½ ins (55 cms) deep.
A Large 18th Century Walnut Veneered Bureau Bookcase. The associated upper section having a moulded cornice above two doors with broad cross-banded borders and inlaid feathered bands, opening to reveal adjustable shelves sliding into side grooves above a bank of pigeon holes and three tiers of drawers with candle- slides below. The bureau base having a lip-moulded fall front on side lopers, enclosing a stepped interior of serpentine fronted pigeon holes, secret compartments & drawers flanking a small bow-front cupboard, with a stationary well housed in the frieze enclosed by a sliding lid. The three top drawers and two long base drawers bordered by feather-banding with lip-moulded edges on a moulded base with bracket feet, 90 ins (229 cms) high, 38½ ins (98 cms) wide, 23 ins (59 cms) deep.
A Queen Anne Walnut Chest of Drawers Circa 1700. The quarter veneered top with a herringbone & cross banded border meeting the ovolu moulded edge. The two short & three long graduated drawers having tear drop handles and divided by applied mouldings, on bracket feet. 35¾ ins (91 cms), 38½ ins (98 cms) wide, 28 ins (58½ cms) in depth.
