An Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau book case with two astragal glazed doors under a plain frieze over a fall front bureau with a fitted interior of central cupboard, drawers and pigeon holes over lopers and three long drawers raised on a bracket foot plinth. 204 cm high, 91 cm wide and 45 cm deep.
A mid-20th century English bracket or table clock in the 18th century caddy-top style, the square brass dial having applied, silvered chapter ring, matted centre and cherub head spandrels, matched blued steel hands, opening door has cast brass key escutcheon and matching ‘dummy’ escutcheon together with an inset cast brass frieze, case surmounted by a cast brass handle, 8-day ‘Empire’ gong striking movement, with key and pendulum Est £80 - £120
dating: 18th Century provenance: Brescia, Smooth-bore, octagonal, 16 mm cal. barrel, signed 'PEDRETTI', brass, saddle-rear-sight, fore-sight; snaphaunce flintlock, engraved with floral motifs and provided with movable pan cover. Wooden, half stock with brass mounts, engraved trigger-guard, pierced barrel bracket. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod. Surface rust, to be cleaned. length 136 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: Ottoman Empire, Smooth-bore, round barrel, with square base, provided with a frame, rib signed by an Italian artisan 'Giuseppe...' (barely readable name), strongly, circularly bell-mouthed nozzle; engraved tang; flintlock with safety lock. Wooden, full stock with silver mounts, richly decorated with silver-inlaid crescents, star, floral motifs and filigree. Wide, silver barrel bracket band, embossed with floral motifs. Silver-tipped wooden ramrod. Small defects and parts missing. Very scarce. length 96 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Round, rifled barrel, with fore-sight, company's address, patent marking and 'KING'S - IMPROVEMENT', small, foldaway rear sight. Brass frame marked with serial number '102xxx' behind the trigger. In working order (slightly weak hammer's spring). Wooden butt and fore-end (small crack next to the butt-plate). Iron barrel bracket, firing lever and saddle ring. Brass butt-plate. length 98 cm.
dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: England, Round, smooth-bore, 19 mm cal. barrel, with ring at the base, test-bed stamps and other two stamps; flintlock, signed 'PRITCHETT', stamp 'M' (?), remains of finishing. Wooden, full stock marked behind the tang 'KV' and 'T1', under the butt 'DP' and '8', the butt is personalized dotted inscription 'G. Murton - Milton Volunteers'; bronze mounts, butt-plate marked '(M) SOMERSET 2112'. Bronze, engraved barrel bracket. No ramrod. length 117.5 cm.
dating: 16th Century provenance: Italy, Smooth-bore, round, iron barrel with a ring at the nozzle, upper vent and base with a small pommel. Mounted on a wooden haft with five, iron barrel bracket bands. Butt with a suspension ring, under an iron pivot. Rare, artisan hand cannon. length totale 45.5 cm.
