Loss of veneers to the front in various places. Handles do not appear to be original. Splits to the bases of the drawers. Locks missing on drawers. Repairs to the veneers in various places throughout. Has had a new back board. All over various scratches, scuffs, marks, chjps and damage. Various signs throughout of wear and tear. 78cm wide x 46cm deep and 75.5cm tall.

*A c1906 Rudge Whitworth 'Path Racer'. A highly original machine with an indistinct number on the bottom bracket of 3?5035, and featuring a cotterless bottom bracket, beaded-edge 26-inch tyring with unusual wide-spread spokes, block rubber pedals, 11-inch crank, lugless frame with a sloping top tube, 17-inch flat handlebars and a rarely encountered, dual-operated front and rear braking system via adjustable bars and Bowden cables. A round-nose brown leather saddle of the Rudge type, black grips and pneumatic pump brackets are fitted. With some original nickel-plating visible on the adjustable hubs and handlebars. (1)
