A NORTH WALES MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLCOCK, marked Edwards Llangollen, having broken swan neck pediment with brass ball and spike finial`s above arched aperture flanked by spirally turned baluster columns, the waist with crossbanded decoration, pointed arch door and spirally turned baluster columns on a crossbanded panel base with bracket feet and shaped apron. Arched painted face with ship decorated rolling moon, seconds and date dials and figure painted spandrels. Eightday movement striking on one bell. C1865. Dial 20" x 14" . Height overall 95"
