Two Modern Zenith Striking Bracket Clocks, with brackets, 46cm, wall brackets 17cmRed Clock - clock case with small chips to the front edges. Some other small chips to the gilded surfaces. Some small surface scratches. Wall bracket with minor chips. Movement is working and striking on the half hour and hour. Green Clock - case with chips. The front-right foot is broken (this piece is still present). The back right-hand side foot is damaged and with old repair. The back left-hand foot with some chipping to the gilt surfaces. Dial has some hairline cracks. Movement is striking correctly on the hour and half hour. Unable to test clock movement due to the broken foot. Wall bracket with chips and surface scratches in parts.
A Victorian walnut bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on two bells, the 8-inch silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals and signed 'Thwaites & Reed London', the case with stepped top above bevelled glass side panels, on a cushion plinth base, height 47cm, with pendulum and case key. Note: Thwaites & Reed are recorded London clockmakers, founded in 1740 and running to this day, claiming to be the oldest clock manufacturing company in the world.
A George V oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking hours on a large gong and chiming on six smaller gongs, the 11-inch square brass dial with black Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and inscribed 'Maple London', the hood with barley twist columns, the trunk and base with geometric mouldings, on bracket feet, height 207cm, with pendulum and three weights.
A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch brass breakarch dial with strike/silent indicator to arch above a chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals framing a chinoiserie engraved centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture and inscribed 'Story & Howell Yarmouth', all cornered with cast and pierced scroll spandrels, the hood with glazed door and fluted columns above an arched trunk door, fluted cut corner columns and panelled base on bracket feet, height 235cm, with pendulum, two weights and winding key. Note: Storey & Howell are recorded Norfolk clockmakers working in Great Yarmouth pre-1778.
A George III Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 13-inch brass breakarch dial with black Roman hour numerals and engraved with foliate scrolls, framing subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed 'Mitchell & Son Gorbals' to arch, the hood with blind fretwork frieze above a glazed door with twist columns, the trunk with rectangular door and twist corner columns, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 203cm, with later pendulum, two weights and winder.
A George III mahogany musical longcase clock with eight day three-train movement striking hours on a large bell and chiming on a nest of twelve smaller graduated bells with twenty-four hammers and pull repeat mechanism, the 13¼-inch brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring, matt centre with date aperture and silvered plaque, inscribed 'Henry Williams, Lancarvan', cornered with gilt urn, eagle and scroll spandrels, all beneath a three-section silvered arch displaying three of six rolling painted scenes, the hood with broken arch pediment, brass ball and spire finial and pierced fret panels above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with shaped arch door, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 228cm, with pendulum and three black painted lead weights (some faults). Note: Henry Williams of Lancarvan (1727-1790) is regarded as one of Wales finest clockmakers, working from his little workshop in the rural Vale of Glamorgan. He was known for producing high quality clocks and was also a successful farmer.

W G SOTHERS; an Arts and Crafts silver plated bracket clock, with applied brass bouquet and scrolling decoration, impressed marks verso, the dial set with Roman numerals, height 22cm. Condition Report: Sellotape residue to the front back and sides, tarnishing and rubbing throughout the case, no noticeable dents, back cover and key are present, slight rubbing to the face, does tick however we do not guarantee full working order.
A Georgian inlaid mahogany secretaire bookcase, the upper section with moulded cornice above two glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves above the base section with secretaire drawer, above three further drawers, on bracket feet, width 110cm, depth 56cm, height 223cm.Condition Report: The top section is detachable, there is one brass handle in the top drawer, age related ware, scuffs, scratches and knocks throughout, some cracking to the veneer.
