A Pair of Elm Chinese Throne Chairs Circa 1920. The down swept horse-shoe back rail with voluted terminals and a curved central back-splat carved with a small panel of stylized chinoiserie foliage & dragon heads. The shaped front arm supports joined by a wavy bracket above the large square seats; with recessed panels of simulated cane. The legs rounded at the corners and enhanced by the shaped aprons and side rails that are joined by peripheral stretchers.
A Victorian Walnut & Rosewood Cased Polyphone playing ten 15¾ inch (40 cm) diameter discs. The rectangular lid having a raised centre panel inlaid with a bouquet of flowers and edged in moulding, enclosing the mechanism with an inset sepia printed panel depicting cherubic musicians & dancers in landscape to the inside lid. The beaded base on low bracket feet. The discs numbered & entitled; Les Cloches de Corneville Chanson des cloches 1935, Mignon Danse de Salon 10139, Louisiana Lou 1969, Unter dem Doppelandler 1277, The Seventh Royal Fusiliers March 1230, March of the Gordon Boys 1739, Faust Soldaten Chor 1780, The Geisha 1662, Soldiers in the Park 10022, and San Tay.
A Charming Sheraton Revival Inlaid Satinwood Secrétaire Bookcase. The upper section having a moulded swan-neck pediment inlaid with elegant scrolls of flowers & foliage enriched with penwork above two astrigal glazed doors with cross-banded borders, and a bank of three small frieze drawers decorated with bellflower garlands. The base section inlaid with a classical urn issuing flowers & acanthus swagged in drapery framed by ripple grained cross-banded borders edged in stringing. The secrétaire drawer with hinged fall front opening to reveal a fitted interior with tooled leather writing surface above further long drawers; all having gilt brass swing handles on fanned oval mounts. Standing on swept bracket feet 86½ ins (220 cms) high, 35½ ins (90 cms) wide, 18½ ins (47 cms) deep.
A Pair of Pretty Sheraton Revival Painted Satinwood Waterfall Bookcases. The shaped pediments painted with urns of flowers in oval rings of black stringing swagged in drapery either side. The graduated shelves edged in painted black stringing above a single panel cupboard door ornamented with a basket of flowers and anthemion motifs. Standing on outswept bracket feet 53 ins (135 cms) in height, 20 ins (51 cms) wide and 11 ins (28 cms) deep.
A 19th Century Brass Bound Mahogany Miliatary Chest. The upper section accommodating a central secrétaire drawer with fitted interior and fall front writing surface inset with tooled leather, flanked by sides drawers above a long drawer below. The base section with two further long drawers on bracket feet; all having recessed brass swing handles, brass lined keyholes and incised edging lines. The secrétaire lock stamped Hobbs & Co. London. 40¾ ins (103.5 cms) high, 38¾ ins (98.5 cms) wide, 18½ ins (47 cms) deep.
A Miniature Mahogany Long Case Clock. The dome-topped cavetto moulded hood having an arched dial with a small round plaque inscribed Tempus Fugit surrounded by engraved flowers. The case with a dummy front door above a moulded base on swept bracket feet. The back with small presentation plaque inscribed "Presented to Lady Whitworth after Launching HMS Loch Glendhu at Buratisland Shipyard on 18th October 1944", 34½ ins (88 cms) in height.
A Fabulous Quality George III Satinwood Balloon Clock by John Leroux (Circa 1750-1805). The silvered 6¾ inch (17 cm) diameter dial signed J. Leroux Charing Cross and engraved J. Leroux London on the back-plate. The splendid ripple-grained case surmounted by a square pagoda pediment with gilt brass urn finial . The front adorned with a gilt metal mount cast with a sunburst face mask above laurel garlands. The arched, moulded base raised on gilded ogee bracket feet 21½ ins (54 cms) in height.
A Fine Bracket Clock & Bracket veneered in red tortoiseshell with ebony mouldings and gilt bronze mounts. The matted gilt chapter ring mounted upon a black velvet ground with gilt lined winding holes, finely pierced & engraved pointers and an ornamental mount below cast with an urn cascading foliage and cornucopia of fruit. The breakfront pilasters inlaid with silver embellishments and stringing below Corinthian style capitals. The caddy top surmounted by flaming urn finials above a pierced frieze of gilt spindles, 23¾ ins (60 cms) high 13¼ ins (34 cms) wide. The bracket supports of four broken scroll arms adorned with wrythen rosettes, pendant garlands, stiff leaves & crowned female face masks, and fanning out from a Satyr`s head, 13¼ ins (34 cms) high, 16 ins (41 cms) wide.
An 18th Century Walnut Secrétaire à Abbatant. The boldly carved crested top rail with twin-foliate S-scrolls and ringed roundel`s. The burr veneered fall front opening to reveal a fitted interior. The stand having a gadrooned moulding above two short and three long graduated drawers on bracket feet. 72 ins (183 cms) in height, 45 ins (114 cms) in width, 18½ ins (47 cms) in depth.
A Fabulous Late 16th/Early 17th Century Spanish Walnut Vargueno on Stand. The fall front opens out to reveal an architectonic fitted interior with eleven graduated drawer fronts all similarly fashioned with projected arcading emphasised by barley-twist columns; the inlaid panels of ivory painted to simulate faceted ovals and diamonds with fine gilt interlinked borders centred by protruding iron scallop shell handles. Two doors with twin scroll pediments flanking similarly ornamented drawers that incorporate secret sliding compartments. The solid walnut carcass adorned with gilt open strap-work panels & an impressive central lock plate with a twin column pinnacled clasp. The trestle stand incorporating two large scallop shell lopers that slide out to reveal the carved monogram HR. The two spiral twisted and fluted baluster legs united by an arcaded support adjoining bracket plinth feet with gilt scroll terminals. 57 ins (145 cms) in height, 41½ ins (106 cms) in width, 20 ins (51 cms) in depth.
A Small, Fine Quality 18th Century Serpentine Chest of Drawers Circa 1790, of good colour & patination. The well figured top having protruding canted corners inlaid with a satinwood and ebony strung border. The serpentine front having four long drawers with ebony strung edges fitted with ebonised knobs. The canted corners inlaid with simulated stop-fluting and standing on shaped bracket feet. 20 ins (76 cms) in height, 31½ ins (80 cms) in width, 20 ins (51 cms) in depth.
A 19th Century longcase clock, the eight day movement with painted arched dial depicting a river scene, hunting hounds and game to the spandrels with seconds dial and date aperture, in mahogany and oak case with broken pediment on turned column supports, pointed arched trunk door, flanked by ring turned pilasters and bracket feet, 85 1/2" high

19th Century mahogany two section secretaire bookcase, the top having a high inlaid swan neck pediment with fretwork panels, cornice with Greek key decoration, fitted three adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of astragal glazed doors, the base fitted secretaire drawer with two long drawers below, each with cast gilt brass handles, standing on ogee bracket feet, 127cm wide.
Regency mahogany two section secretaire bookcase, the upper section having a moulded cornice with satinwood crossbanding, fitted four shelves enclosed by a pair of glazed doors with reeded tracery, base fitted secretaire drawer with conforming satinwood crossbanding and enclosing a satinwood fitted interior, three long graduated drawers below all with brass lion mask ring drop handles and standing on splayed bracket feet, 107cm wide.
George III mahogany bracket clock by Hardeman & Son of Bridge. The painted dial with Roman numerals and strike/silent above twelve. The twin fusee movement striking on a bell, signed to the engraved back plate, the pendulum engraved with regulation scale. The case with brass inlay, fish scale fretwork panels and ring drop handles to each side, 50cm high.
George III mahogany longcase clock by William Bilbie of Chew Stoke, the hood with moulded swan neck pediment having carved giltwood foliate embellishments, reeded pillars with brass Corinthian capitals, trunk with long door flanked by reeded canted corners and standing on bracket feet, arch shaped brass dial with painted moon phase, silvered `High Water At Bristol Key`, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture.
