A 19th Century cello with scroll shaped head stock, and a Nicholas Duchene bow CONDITION REPORTS Length of back approx. 75.5 cm excluding button, sides with numerous large splits and chips, and edges with heavy wear, chips and losses, table with numerous large splits and areas of filler, overall heavily scuffed, scratched and chipped, finger board has fallen off, pegs have had base style metal bracket screw fittings added and screwed onto the side of the scroll, some separating and lifting at cracks and splits, back appears to have some block repairs which have been glued into place to the interior, bridge is loose and unbranded, bow with wear and scuffs and stick not quite true.
A reproduction mahogany partner's desk, the shaped top with tooled and gilded leather insert above a central drawer flanked by two smaller drawers, the two pedestals one with panelled door, the other with three drawers on bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS The wood around the leather top has a loss in the top right hand corner. Some small chips, scratches and indented marks through out. Brown leather with some deep scratches, assorted marks etc, the whole with general wear and tear through use. Approx dimensions are 136 cm wide x 76.5 cm deep and 74 cm high.
