A group of Chinese export mother- of-pearl gaming counters, 19th century, comprising; a number of long rectangular bracket edged counters; a quantity of rectangular counters; a small number of circular counters; three small rectangular bracket edged counters, all the counters variously engraved with the monogram `MR', the monogram `BY', a coat of arms with a horned mythical creature or a pagoda, some with diaper to the reverse, later associated box,( total approx.150).
Two Victorian Silver Swing Handled Sugar Baskets, Reilly & Storer, London 1849 and George Richards, London 1854, with scrolling pierced sides on pierced bracket feet, glass liners, the larger 11.5cm high excluding handle, 12.1ozt (2)Both sets of marks partially worn but legible. Both baskets part marked to handles. Some give to the pierced sides but both generally in good order. The cranberry liner possibly a replacement.
