Surface wear and scratches throughout, knocks to feet. Would benefit from restoration.
A George IV mahogany, slightly bow fronted commode chest of drawers fitted four ebony strung, long drawers. On slender splayed bracket feet united by a shaped apron. 107 cm wide x 54cm deep x 102 cm high.Condition report: No apparent major defects. A few small areas of missing cockbeading and some small areas of ebony stringing. The sides are good and without splitsThe right-hand side has an old horizontal gouge from something being placed along side and then dragged along the side of the chest.

An early 18th Century walnut, feather and cross-banded chest on chest, the moulded cornice above three short drawers and three long graduated drawers on a base with brushing slide over three long graduated drawers, the lower drawer with a concave starburst parquetry-inlaid motif raised on bracket feet (provenance: Christie's sale Wednesday 10th July 2013, Lot 134) (A marriage with some damage to veneers), 106 cm wide x 58.5 cm deep x 176.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has large areas of veneer missing throughout. Replacement handles. Cracking and patching to the veneers in places. Brushing slide is worn where it has been in and out. Drawer liners are split. Wear and tear conducive with age and use to include surface scratching, knocks, bumps, etc. See images for more details.
A 19th Century figured mahogany chest of two short over four long graduated drawers with brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, 110 cm wide x 54.5 cm deep x 116 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Top has a large stain. Replacement locks and handles. Some patching in various places. Loss to the moulding on some of the drawers. The front is faded and has water marks. Both sides have splits - one side more prominent. An 18th century figured walnut bachelor's chest of drawers, with brushing slide, ornate multi-panel veneer top and bracket feet, width 95cm, height 87cm, depth 52cmThe veneer on the top has slightly split along the join and has been filled, but all very stable, there are a number of small water marks on the top, no splits on the side, brass handles not original and there is evidence of new handles being fitted to the drawers. There are small sections of veneer cracked and missing. There are cracks to the top of slide.
