An Edwardian rosewood lancet bracket clock, with Vone of Paris eight day movement striking a gong, no. 57586, the white enamel dial having Roman numerals and marked for the retailer White of Paris, the case having string and shell satinwood inlays and brass handles and bracket feet, 30cm high.
A late 18c English bracket clock by Baker of London, the double fusee movement having anchor escapement and striking and hour repeating on a bell. The backplate has edge engraving and is signed and the arched brass dial has a strike/silent in the arch and a date ring below the dial centre. The dial has scroll spandrels and matched steel hands and the dial centre and strike/silent rings are silvered. It is contained in a round topped mahogany case with brass carrying handles, fish scale side frets and bracket feet, it stands 16.5" tall overall.
A late 19c French mantel clock in a flat topped oak case inlaid with Art Nouveau swirling floral designs and having lions head ring side handles and brass bracket feet. The single train movement has a two piece dial with gilt centre and cream enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, 10.5" tall overall.
A late 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12" arched brass dial signed James Rule, Portsmouth in the arch. The dial has a strike/silent lever in the arch, seconds and date indications, a silvered engraved dial centre, scroll spandrels and unmatched steel hands. The four pillar movement has been converted to strike on a gong in the back of the case. The mahogany case has a pagoda top with sound fret on the front and a dentil moulding around the top hood moulding. Fluted columns flank the dial and the trunk is plain with an arched door, the base has a rectangular applied panel and bracket feet, 84" tall overall.
An early 19c eight day longcase clock, the 12" arched brass dial signed John Isaacs, London and having vase spandrels and engraved floral dial centre and tempus fusee in the arch. It has seconds and date indicators and unmatched steel hands. The substantial three train movement quarter chimes on eight barrels and strikes on a ninth. It is contained in a mahogany case which has been extensively recarved, the hood has swan neck pediments with a central finial and plain columns flank the dial. The trunk has canted fluted corners and the pointed door has extensive floral carving. The base has large lunette carving with a central sheaf of corn and a deep bracket footed plinth also recarved, it stands 89" tall overall.
