BERG' within an engraved border around the throat, the body pierced with an anchor device, crossed bayonets and a crown to the front showing the red leather liner, the reverse pierced with a length-ways arabesque also showing the leather liner, ball finial at tip and suspension bracket (missing loop) to top bisecting the stamp 'No. 13'.
