A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BRACKET CLOCK the silvered break arch dial with strike/silent to the arch above a roman dial with subsidiary seconds, signed Robert Wood, London, the verge escapement with bell strike and pull repeat, border engraved and signed back plate. The bell top case with gilt metal handle and pineapple finials above foliate scroll side frets and ogee bracket feet, 18 ½" high.
A GEORGE III MAHOGANY LONG CASE CLOCK with break arch pediment and carved rose decoration, the dial with moon phase and second hand and painted flower decoration, signed James Waugh, Armagh No. 30, eight day striking mechanism, case with shaped panel door, fluted pilasters and canted corners, on bracket feet, 87" high overall (see illustration).
