A George IV rosewood bracket clock, by Viner & Co, Royal Exchange, London, circa 1830, with single fusee movement, silvered dial and Roman numerals, the case in the Gothic style, 49cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lot 130 - areas of colour fading to the wood on clock and wood starting to raise in some areas, panel loose on left side and a little loose on opposite, minor surface marks to dial and glass door. 49cm high x 32cm wide x 20cm deep
An Edwardian mahogany and satinwood strung three section bookcase, the moulded cornice above an inlaid frieze and three part glazed cabinet doors enclosing adjustable shelving, raised on a bracket foot base CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear, scuffs, scratches, some lifting and cracking and warping to veneers. However, external appearance is reasonably tidy. Some knocks, scuffs and chips to edges. Various shelves present. Plinth base appears to be separate. Size approx 212 cm high x 155 cm wide
A George III mahogany bachelor chest, the rectangular top with applied moulding to the edge over a brushing slide above two short and three long graduated drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, on ogee bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS Has probably been stripped and repolished. Various cracks and splits to the top, various impressed marks, light scratches, dark marks, etc throughout. Both sides with various splits. Large split to right side from top to bottom. Splits to drawer fronts and repair to top left drawer including around handle. Repairs to bottom drawer. Wear and tear. Brushing slide has splits, Splits to bottom boards of drawers.
An early 19th Century mahogany specimen cabinet, the plain top with applied reeded edge over two fielded panelled cupboard doors with reeded decoration, opening to reveal six graduated long drawers, each with brass flush handles, raised on bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS 80 cm wide x 108.5 cm tall x 61.5 cm deep. Back right corner there is some os the applied edging missing. There are some deep impressed marks through out. Other deep marks, chips, scratched, dark marks etc. General wear and tare throughout.
A 19th Century Dutch breakfront side cabinet of small proportions, the top with central marquetry inlaid shell medallion, the side panels rising on hinges and bracket to form a serving table, over a single fitted drawer above a single door with central oval medallion, raised on tapering supports to brass caps
A small 18th Century style oak and cross-banded two section bureau, the rectangular top above a fall front opening to reveal various pigeon holes and cupboard, over four graduated drawers to bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS Size approx 44cm wide x 42cm deept x 91cm high. Overall wear, scuffs and scratches, lifting to inlay, cracks and splits to veneers including chips and splits. extensive old woodworm holes. Bureau appears to have been made up from various pieces of wood, some older than others.

A Chinese clear cut rock crystal dressing table bottle of slab cut baluster form with ring handles and scrolling decoration to the cover, the interior painted with bearded man with young boy feeding geese and verso bearded man and young boy with lantern and script, raised on a bracket foot base, together with silver strung hardwood stand CONDITION REPORTS There is a flaw to the crystal on the side without the writing, at the top edge, and the base is glued onto the main body. There is wear and tear conducive with age and use, together with areas of dirt, some small chips to the inside rims, surface scratches, and internal flaw to the main body to the side with the script just above the waist. The wooden base has general wear and tear, and is fairly modern. 15cm high overall.
A mahogany and cross-banded Sutherland table on brown china castors, together with a mahogany corner display cabinet with moulded cornice above blind fretwork frieze and astragal glazed door, above a base of further astragal glazed door enclosing two shelves, raised on bracket feet, a mahogany framed needlework fire screen, a dark mahogany Sutherland table, a mahogany and inlaid two tier tea trolley with drawer below, raised on brass castors, a mahogany night table with three quarter galleried top, raised on straight legs, an oak drop leaf side table on square legs, and two Eastern style rugs
GERMAN PORCELAIN WALL BRACKET - c.1890, a Meissen style German wall bracket, made by a provincial factory. Originally one of a pair, usual damage as with this style of porcelain on the flowers. Measures 210mmx200mm. and a late C.19th/early C.20th copy of an earlier European porcelain figure of two boys sat upon a lion. Impressed mark on base W & No. Damage to several areas and the lion is missing its tongue.
A 19th century maritime brass gimballed compass in wooden case, the dial inscribed 'Kelvin, Bottomley & Baird Ltd., Captain Chetwynd's Patent No.25965/06, Glasgow and London', the ring stamped 'Patt.24.0., No.144', and the outer gimballed ring inscribed 'Dent's Patent' with military markings, diameter of gimballed bracket 24cm, width of case 26cm, the case set with leather carrying strap.
A 19th century coromandel cased brass two-day marine chronometer, the upper hinged lid revealing a glazed inner section opening to show the silvered dial inscribed 'Gray & Keen, 25 & 26 Strand Liverpool', with up-down indicator, seconds dial inscribed '266' and with Roman numerals, in gimbaled bracket and original case with recessed brass carrying handles, diameter of dial 10.75cm, width of case 16.5cm. CONDITION REPORT Four small pieces of veneer missing to top and cracking commensurate with age. Working when tested.
