A 19th Century oak trunk / coffer, the four plank top with applied moulded edge, opening to reveal a plain interior, raised on bracket feet, 105 cm wide x 70 cm deep x 59.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The plank top is very gappy / has shrunk and has been heavily re-lacquered at some point. Burn marks, fading, etc, throughout. Signs of old worm. There is a loss to the centre back of the left hand panel as well as some losses to the feet. Split and patch to the right hand side. Gapping to all joins. There is a large area of patching to the right hand back corner of the lid. Replacement hinges. Lock present. No key. Unknown if working. Doesn't appear to have a mechanism in it though. Base panels are split / gappy. Appears to have had a shelf in previously - now not present. Repair to the top of the right hand side panel. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, the outswept pediment with Gothic moulding over four adjustable shelves, above a fall flap opening to reveal a baize interior, six recesses over two long drawers, flanked by six further drawers and two recesses, above three further long drawers, raised on bracket feet, 210cm high, 108cm wide, 56cm deep. A Georgian mahogany longcase clock, by Andrew Padbery Bishops Waltham, the Tempus Fugit break arch dial with dolphin and mask spandrels, silver chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, eight day movement with bell strike, the broken arch pediment above a hood with brass capped fluted columns, plain trunk, raised on bracket feet, with pendulum, weights, no key, 233cm high.
A Georgian and later longcase clock by MS Johnson of Lincoln, the break arch dial painted with dog's heads, dial bearing Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, eight day movement with bell strike, the hood with break arch pediment, raised on a pair of turned columns, brass capped, plain trunk, raised on bracket feet, with pendulum weights and key, 202cm high.

Routemaster 64-Seater Bus, with Esso and Golden advert, boxed, also two Matchbox vehicles to include a Mjor Pack No.2 Bedford Tractor and Trailer, with Davies Tyre livery, a Major Pack No.6, a Scammel 6x6 Ballast Tractor with Pickfords Trailer, boxed and Lledo Guide Dogs van (4). CONDITION REPORT: The Matchboxes are only partially present and have masking tape repairs. The Pickfords trailer is missing its V-shaped bracket/clip which connects to the tractor.
WILLIAM LAWRENCE, CARK; a George III oak thirty-hour longcase clock with associated dial and movement, the 12" square painted dial inscribed 'Wm. Lawrence, Cark' and set with Arabic numerals and rolling date aperture above cross banded arched door, to stepped base and bracket feet, height 210cm.
Two 19th century 9ct gold cameo brooches, the largest carved shell oval depicting Iris, goddess of the rainbow, in an oval mount with ball and bracket adornments, height approx 5.5cm, the other carved shell depicting the head and shoulders of a lady, in an oval fancy mount, length approx 3.1cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Combined approx 14g (including shells).
HAMPDEN WATCH CO; a vintage 14ct gold Special Railway full hunter pocket watch, the white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals within gilt shield borders, maker's logo under 12 o'clock and smaller seconds subsidiary dial, crown wind twenty-three jewel safety pinion movement no.1189040, marked 'Canton Ohio', in a 14ct gold elaborate full hunter case, with bezel set tiny diamond in star and flower mount, with outer floral decoration in yellow and rose gold, within a rose gold coloured heavy case with floral decoration and substantial hinge bracket. CONDITION REPORT: Approx 140g. At the time of cataloguing, the watch appears to be in going order, however this is no guarantee of working order. The face doesn't appear to have any obvious scratches or damage. The case itself under magnification, will have some scratches, but no obvious repairs or damage.The inner dust cover is marked 14ct.
A late 18th century oak Welsh dresser, the upper section with plate rack over a lower section with two cupboard doors flanking four central graduating drawers between two reeded pilasters, all raised on small bracket feet. 203 cm high, 190 cm wide, 60 cm deep (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The width is actually 190 cm. The depth is 59 cm and height 203 cm.
A George III mahogany chest of drawers, two short and three long with wooden knob handles and cockbeading to each drawer front and raised on bracket feet. Height 94.5 cm, width 109 cm, depth 52 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chest is structurally sound. The top has some minor veneer losses to the rear corners and further minor stress fractures to the veneers. There are also some watermarks. The top is however not significantly split and is flat. The moulded edge is in generally good order all round with a small loss on the rear left-hand corner. The drawer fronts are all in generally good condition and well figured. All locks where fitted are present. We have no keys. They are not locked. The top left-hand handle has a loss to the rear turning. The sides are in generally good condition. The backboards are original as are the bracket feet which again only have minor nibbles to the veneers. The rear right-hand foot has a larger outer edge loss to the veneer but this does not affect stability.
A Georgian mahogany musical longcase clock by Ferguson of Dundee, playing six tunes on nine bells, the three train movement also striking, the case with well figured trunk door flanked by canted angles and with conforming base. Height 220 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The hand to select the tunes is missing. The tunes are - Masons Song, Balance a Straw, God Save The King, A Cotillion, Lovely Nancy and Corn Rigs. We have the weights and pendulum. The movement winds on all three trains. We have had the mechanism ticking but not striking or playing the tunes. The case is in reasonably good condition with no major issues. The hood is in good order all round with only minor stress fractures to the mahogany in places. The door is not warped. The long trunk door is well figured. It is very slightly warped when closed at the top left-hand corner. The lock plate is present as is the rear of the lock (which is detached). We have no key. There is a small piece of moulding to the left of the lock escutcheon which is detached. We have the piece. The sides of the trunk are in generally good condition. The base has stress fractures to the veneers on the front panel. The bracket feet are all present and in good order. The backboard has some minor traces of what appears to be old long gone woodworm. The seat board to the movement is not original and it is possible that the cheeks on which it rests have been cut down. With the door open it is possible to read the tune plate and the mask around the dial does fit fairly well. It is when the door is closed that the tune plate is not fully visible. An 18th century walnut chest of drawers, with slide above four graduated drawers with brass drop handles and shaped backplates and brass lock escutcheons and raised on bracket feet. Height 82 cm, width 76 cm, depth 40 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chest of drawers is in extremely good condition and could be used in its present state without the need for any work. The top is of good colour and not warped. The slide operates as it should and the green baize surface is clean. All drawer fronts are in good condition. The handles are probably original. The locks are all present, we have no keys. The lock escutcheons are probably later. If the handles are not original, they go through the original handle holes. The drawers all run smoothly. The drawer linings are oak. The bracket feet are in good condition all around and the piece is structurally very sound.
A George III tall oak chest of drawers, two short and five long graduated drawers with brass drop handles with pierced backplates and cockbeading to each drawer front and raised on bracket feet. Height 134 cm, width 108 cm, depth 53 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top is constructed from three planks. There are shrinkage gaps between the planks. There is also some evidence of old what appears to be long gone woodworm. The edge moulding is in good condition all round. The sides of the piece are also made from two planks, there is a shrinkage gap between each plank. Again there is no movement. The drawer fronts are all in generally good order with only minor losses to the cockbeading on long drawer three. The handles would appear to be original as are the lock escutcheons. All locks where fitted are present. We do not have a key. There are no locked drawers. Long drawer two has a section of cockbeading missing on the right-hand side. There are small traces of what appears to be long gone woodworm to some of the drawer fronts and the drawer runners. The bracket feet are in generally good order with only minor marks as one would expect. The backboards are original.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, by James Monkhouse of Carlisle, with 30 hour movement and moonphase, the case with long trunk door flanked by quarter column corners and raised on bracket feet. Height 218 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The 30 hour movement is complete with weight and pendulum. It appears to be ticking away and striking when advanced. The hood door glass is broken. The door is however not warped. There has been a repair to the left-hand swans neck. There are minor nibbles to the extremities of the hood and shrinkage to some joints. The main trunk door is not significantly warped and closes as it should. The sides of the trunk are in good condition. The base is all original. Again there is a stress fracture down the centre join. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
