A late Edwardian Lenzkirch walnut bracket style mantel clock, with arch-top case, the silvered dial having black Roman numerals, the eight day movement striking half-hourly on a coil gong, 23cm high.Condition: Case fair with negligible signs of age. Movement does not wind and runs for less than 1 minute before stopping. Strike train winds but strikes intermittently.

A Fine German 28-Bore Wheel-Lock Holster PistolAugsburg, Circa 1580With blued two-stage barrel swamped towards the bevelled muzzle, octagonal breech struck on the top flat with maker's mark, an orb and cross between two pellets in a shield, and the Augsburg mark (Neue Støckel 6477 and 1285), blued tang, blued flat lock, the edges and wheel-bracket left bright, struck with a man-in-the-moon mark (Neue Støckel 8481), and with pivoting safety-lever with button finial and acting against a chiselled spring, blued wheel-cover, sliding pan-cover with release button, and cock acting on a chiselled spring, figured fruitwood full stock inlaid along each side of the fore-stock with white staghorn or bone monsters linked together by a white staghorn or bone line interrupted by an engraved ball-flower, the butt inlaid overall with scrollwork, engraved flower-heads and ball-flowers, and around the tang with panels engraved with foliage, compressed ball-pommel segmented by white staghorn or bone lines and inlaid with roundels variously engraved with flower-heads, foliage and trelliswork, a vacant roundel at the base, iron trigger-guard, foliate engraved staghorn or bone rear ramrod-pipe and fore-end cap, original iron-tipped ramrod, and in fine condition retaining most of its original blueing 37.8 cm. barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com
An 18th Century mahogany tallboy chest with arrangement of three short and six long drawers flanked by canted sides with blind fret carved decoration on bracket feet, 115cm wide/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Dental cornice chipped in places. Fretwork decoration contemporary and chipped in places. Drawer handles and escutcheons later. Both sides split and moulding split and repaired. Chest splits into two. Please note: this lot is very badly nicotine stained.

Handles replaced, some old holes stopped up roughly. Feet have cracks, possibly re-tipped. Lots of small losses to veneers and mouldings. In need of restoration.
