Rare late 19th century German walnut cased symphonium music hall clock, the impressive architectural case with turned finials, split column and applied fret ornament, the upper part with enclosed twin train clock with silver chapter ring, enclosed by glazed door, the trunk below enclosing symphonium machine, stamped - 'Schutz Marke, Made in Germany', numbered 281181, with side lever isolating music box from clock, crank handle winder, together with approximately twenty-six discs, total height approximately 230cm CONDITION REPORT in working condition although mechanism may need attention. Currently clock is not connected to symphonium. Piece of moulding missing to base of right pillar flanking clock face. Tarnishing to silvered dial, some wear to bracket feet, overall case condition is very good. Some discs are warped, buckled and may not be playable
An early 19th century mahogany brass inlaid single pad topped bracket clock, with 8 inch repainted Roman dial and blued steel hands, the two train fusee movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell, the shaped plates with foliate engraved borders united by five turned pillars, height 19.5in.
A Holland and Sons Gothic revival oak buffet or serving table, probably designed by Bruce Talbert, with raised panel to the rectangular top, fitted with two open shelves, the frieze inlaid with chequered bands, the sides with pierced quatrefoil roundels, on bracket feet, stamped 'Holland & So..' to the rear, W.3ft 6in.Provenance: purchased from The Fine Art Society, May 1981 for £3,250.
Attributed to A.W.N. Pugin. A mid 19th century Reformed Gothic oak breakfront open bookcase, probably made by J.G.Crace, with crocheted finials to the frieze, fitted with adjustable open shelves, flanked by stop-chamfered and fish-scale pattern pilasters, the wing sections inset with linenfold side panels, the bracket feet with foliate and berry carved spandrels, W.7ft 10in.Literature: The design of this bookcase bears similarities to a pen and ink sketch, E.1551-1912, in the Victoria & Albert Museum, by A.W.N. Puginwhich he describes as 'Winged bookcase; china; books'. The cornice, fish scale pilasters and carved spandrels to the bracket feet are very similar although his design incorporates doors with linenfold panels. Another Pugin design for a dwarf bookcase, museum no. E.1552-1912, has similar linenfold side panels and stop-chamfered pilasters.

A Victorian oak Gothic style chiming bracket clock, in ornate carved case with cluster columns to the corners, silvered dial numbered 2775, and signed three train movement striking on five gongs, case 34.5in., bracket 15in.Provenance: purchased from Haslam & Whiteway Ltd., 105 Kensington Church Street, London, 24th August 1977 for £1,100.

18th Century ebonised rosewood and ormolu mounted bracket clock, the silvered brass chapter ring, signed James Defontayne, London, with calendar aperture and alarm disk to the arch, the five pillar movement with floral engraved back plate, quarter striking on three bells and adapted from verge to pin wheel escapement, the stepped case surmounted by a two tier basket top CONDITION REPORT Overall in good clean condition, cracking to veneers but only from age, clock is working but we cannot guarentee this
Good quality George III mahogany linen press, the blind fretted and dentil cornice with broken arch pediment above two panelled doors enclosing linen slides, the base with a brushing slide above two short and three long graduated drawers with brass handles raised on ogee bracket feet CONDITION REPORT Split to front bottom drawer, mouldings missing on side, multiple old veneer repairs. Could be restored but there are quite a lot of areas to clean, repair and polish. 53ins wide x 28ins deep x 94ins high
