A very good George III, c. 1790 mahogany Chest of Drawers, of small proportions, the moulded top over two short and three long drawers all with original moulded brass drop handles, on ogee bracket feet, 94cms (37") wide, 80cms (31 1/2") high. (1) Provenance: Formerly in the Collections at Postlip Hall, Cheltenham or Ballyvolane Stud, Co. Limerick.
A fine elegant 18th Century English marquetry walnut and crossbanded Longcase Clock, the moulded dome top with a fret carved frieze, over a square brass dial with half moon, signed Jas. Hendris, Wigton, decorated with dolphins, and cupids holding a crown, with glazed door flanked by two circular black pillars with carved gilt capitals, over a long door with oval aperture (window) and with yew wood crossbanding, chequered and other inlays, and large panels of birds-eye walnut, and on a similar box base with bracket feet, 246cms (8'1") high approx. A fine George III period Bookcase, the attractive inlaid and carved cornice with satinwood panel, over a large top enclosed by a pair of glazed doors in the Gothic style, on a base with two finely figured panel doors with satinwood banding, on bracket feet, 246cms (8'1"), 143cms (4'8")wide. (1)

A George III style mahogany cased caddy top bracket clock, with silvered 15cm dial and eight-day striking movement, with signed backplate, 38cm high/Provenance: Plas Gwyn, Anglesey Condition Report: Condition generally poor. Case is missing the right hand return and one leg. Top unglued. Grilles with loose material. Dial tarnished. Movement is missing the pendulum and the drums are loose. Backplate signed J. Moreland, Chester.
